I am sorry but we really need to assess things as it seems we are going backwards not forwards. How can new paramountcies be created ? If you really understand our history you will know we had kingdoms not chiefdoms. However when the europeans came they started interfering with our polities. This included calling kings and kingdoms paramount chiefs and paramountcies respectively. The purpose behind this was to try and demonstrate that our kings are not on a level with the european monarchs. In addition they brought division in our kingdoms and elevated divisional chiefs to paramount chief status. Francis crowther at the turn of the last century is a major proponent in doing this. I have read some of his reports and his reasonings were deliberately flawed and his decisions made on a whim. But here we are perpetuating the evil and divisions created by imperialists. How does this unite us ?
