Upgrading to L.E.D Headlights on 2019 Royal Alloy

- Upgrading my headlights from factory fitted Halogen bulbs, to Auxito L.E.D Bulb. The difference is significant ! This is on my 2019 euro4 Royal Alloy GT125.
PLEASE NOTE :
THIS IS NOT A LEGAL MODIFICATION !
The MOT Testing Manual states this:
"Existing halogen headlamp units on vehicles... must not be converted to be used with high-intensity discharge (HID) or light emitting diode (LED) bulbs. If such a conversion has been done, you must fail the headlamp for light source and lamp not compatible".
This video was intended as an experiment for educational purposes only to show what is possible, if you were intending to use your motor vehicle on private land.
THIS IS NOT A LEGAL MODIFICATION.
The bulb has since been changed back to the factory Halogen bulb for use on the public highway.

you can on the euro 4 not sure about others that nut underneath the unit its in allows for some movement i angled mine slightly down because when you are badly lit roads or no street lamps and in the rain seeing the road in fornt of you was nxt to impossible..

Oi Oi mucker. I was going to put a LED bulb in my Milano, as it had a rubbish bulb in it. The garage that serviced and MOT the scooter said that if I put a LED bulb in it , it would fail the test because the light wouldn't beam out correctly. I don't know if this is true.

My Milano has been changed to LED, was done by the bike shop when they did a service, because the bulb had failed.

just a question but do u have to have your engine running before your lights can be switched on only or do they work without turning the engine on rsvp thanks
On mine they only come on with the engine, a few seconds delay . Hope that helps and thanks for watching. 🛵👍

You mention 2018 and 19 models don't have led, but newer models do. I'm not sure that is correct, mine and many friends had 2020 and 21 gt125, all standard bulbs. Gp's and tg's have always had led. I am unsure of 2023 gts, if they have led

Well I'm not happy my 2020 had halogen and always wanted LED 😂😂
I did mine as theres alot of country lanes where we live and dont want to end up in a ditch.👍👍

Good video again pal. Mine is a 2020 model and it’s full LED all round. The lights are something you just can’t complain about on a modern RA. 👍
