I would like to handle/address things with this Lyra and Jack at some point, since they’re kind of on our ass over defending ourselves against a pirate. I kind of like to see it go something like this: “very well, I’ll humor you for a minute. Suppose we are the person who was on that ship, even if we *allegedly* sent a grown man flying with a punch, shouldn’t you be thanking us for it? What actual crime would have we committed, aside from defending ourselves and the other passengers? Now either buy some time, a night, or a drink, or bugger off unless you have proof it’s me, and that I did something wrong with a warrant. We have work to do“ Then again, that could probably be difficult to write in… but hey, that’s my two cents and potential headcannon~ ^_^ All in all, though, I am more than happy to see more of Desiree and Darlin~
I’m glad you liked the episode. It’s always fun to see what people’s listeners would say. Though, the reason they are looking for the listener is because the amount of strength that would take is abnormal, and they are concerned. It’s some sort of monster. They don’t understand that a vampire can be a good person, among many other things that simply aren’t human. Montiqu has many dark sides like that. It’s one reason Lyra hates Desiree as well, because she’s a demon.
