@@thekingofcool1641 Its not about swapping the asset That's easy. its about requiring basically an entirely redone animation set for all moves in the game including quite a few unique ones just for this one minor use case. The normal animations wouldn't work on a broken ring.

They really need to bring back the actual OMG feature, because I actually tried to do this recently and it wouldn’t work, I sat there for 30 minutes, 30 minutes of my life that I’ll never get back, wasting it on trying to break the Wrestling Ring in a video game

Custom match. Ring breaking doesn't work in any mode other than custom (unless they changed it from 22 but I highly doubt that) anyway, in the custom match options, somewhere around title match there's also a dual title option.

Any 2K Developers looking for ideas to include in 2K24? I Have not one, but TWO new Ring Explosion OMG'S you could add in-game! Here's what im offering: Have the original suplex remain the same, in the same old corner position out of nostaglia for the gamers, who love it as is. Have a new OMG start with the opponent laid out inside the ring, near a corner to activate the OMG! Where the animation is you going to lift opponent to their feet, but they start punching you in the chest to get back up, and opponent quickly climbs the nearest turnbuckle. You run towards him and overhead suplex him (Kurt Angle style) Third and final OMG! Can be activated with the opponent in the corner facefirst. Animation has your character exit the ring, onto the ropes. You climb the turnbuckle from the outside and while seated, you deadlift opponent onto your shoulders into position for a lifted falling super powerbomb (Similar to Masked Kane) All with different ring EXPLOSION effects! Keep the classic for the Superplex, both players rollout the ring with the Overhead, and have both characters remain downed without any movement for the Falling Powerbomb! What im asking for isn't much, shouldn't take that long to program and would be a HUGE hit to the fans! Look into it 2K, please.
what they should have done so it would be different from previous years is when you break the ring you can still wrestle afterwards the ring would just be broken
The whole point of the ring breaking is not just the weight, but the height and velocity of the weight, and where the majority of the weight lands. Ie, the heavier guy has to be the one superplexed. Brock coming down like that with the heavier guy falling from a much closer range to the corner post, where the ring is stronger, and with him only falling a small height from the lower position would not actually break the ring. The heavier guy, has to be lifted higher, for the weight to gain enough velocity, and he has to land in the middle of the ring. Otherwise this would not happen.
I already knew this but I am stuck with part of this! So it took me way longer than it ever should have to figure out how to do a Irish whip into the corner! But how do I do that without my opponent hitting so hard they just fall down face first on the mat??? No matter how hard or soft I hit the button it is the same results!
Since WWE13, they have not done anything to improve or change this game feature. I mean literally all you have to do is just make this a playable area. Who wouldn't want to have a match in a destroyed ring? But that would actually take time and effort to program that, which is why every WWE 2K game has kind of been mediocre. Besides 2K14.
Some of it is way off tho. I broke the ring suplexling Damian priest off the top with Strowman. There’s usually two big guys. Priest isn’t big enough to break down a ring
