Michael grew up around the corner from me. He was a few years younger than me. When I tell you he used to play basketball EVERY DAY, I mean EVERY DAY. I was horrible but from time to time i'd go around the corner and play. Id ride by at night and he would be on the court by himself, just playing. He loves the game. Im proud to say I know him.
I used to play little league baseball with Michael and he was the goofiest kid on the field, he'd always be tripping over his own feet, I was amazed when I saw him make it Kentucky. I couldn't be more proud to have been able to play baseball and go to the same school as him.
We always say (or the majority) these guys are so lucky but there's plenty of guys without drive who seldom make it to any high level...we don't see the work they commit to. Well done MKG and all other kids working to go pro!
You can see he defends his mother . And is a good person and has a good support system. You know physically his best years are ahead 28-31 . Debuschere went to the knicks around the same age and if he can just shoot like him he will fit.
Sadly he couldn't develop as much last season because of his shoulder injury, it must really suck for him to know his team had their best season without him. If he could've been healthy the Charlotte Hornets could've easily get 50+ wins. Heck they could've won against Miami in the playoffs too.
