Bought the 11R. Was a huge fan of OnePlus, until the 9 series came out (which was disappointing for me), and I was slowly losing my faith in OnePlus. But the 11 series is their redemption. Also was waiting excitedly for the Nothing Phone 2, but the pricing was way off than what was estimated of about 40K. The 11R is about 38-39K, and the Nothing is at 45K(excluding the charger, which will cost you around 2.5K), which according to me sits in a completely different category, and I don't think it's fair to compare it with the 11R.

I could highly relate when he said "functionality se zyada emotions over power kar jati hai" at 2:45 . I'll explain further - I was very sure to buy the nothing phone 1 as it felt the best all rounder at around 30K . Looks ,design language, battery , processor etc. everything was great at that price point . For some reason I had to wait before buying the Nothing phone 1 and I casually started searching about Oneplus 11R and guess what, I bought the 11R instead of Nothing phone 1 because my budget was flexible and I personally loved how it felt in hand at the Oneplus experience store . But later after a month when I saw my brother's Nothing phone 1 , it's design language felt a little bit more attractive that any other thing as compared to 11R .But again when I see the 11R , I feel more attracted to it's overall specs like 8+ gen 1 , the IMX890 , beautiful curved display,100W fast charging, Dual dolby stereo speakers and THE HAPTICS as Sanchit Bhai said ... So the design langauge of Nothing is actually over powering the emotions than the functionality.
Bro you're comparing phone 1 to 11r ...if you compare phn 2 to 11r at 40k price point I think in some factors nothing is better like ui, battery (less mah but optimisation is better in nothing),ltpo display,built and in some 11r is better

Since then I've always loved the oneplus. And now after owning this 11R I can say that the software isn't the same but not any bad. And switching from MIUI to ONE UI and then Oxygen OS, it feels great to use a device with Oxygen OS. Hoping for a stable software experience with the new gen Oneplus.
One UI is the best in the market, so I suppose you have a better understanding of the software experience. If you like it, then the opinions of others do not matter.
For me it's phone 2. The only reason is software. Better experience better update cycles. But more importantly they listen to the customer needs and make changes accordingly. I'm writing this from phone 1.
What a detailed analysis on the features of the phones. I haven't seen anyone else do such a detailed comparison of two products. I would go OnePlus as IR blaster is a good feature to have. It becomes very easy to operate remote operated daily use electronics like tv, set top box, ac etc. and also OnePlus can offer more features possibilities within its eco system and Nothing phone has not yet developed its eco system like OnePlus.
The title of the video could have been: Old Carl Pei vs New Carl Pei. Secondly I think iQoo Neo 7 Pro should have been a part of this comparison or a separate video can be made. All 3 have same processor but different pricing.

Eagerly Waited for nothing phone 2 but it's overpriced for base varient 45k plus adapter 2k so it's cost 47k for base varient definitely OnePlus 11r will be the good choice for us giving everything under 40k
As of now if you see from price perspective OnePlus 11r is better option. But comparing 11th generation phone of stable company with stable software exp, with 2nd generation phone of almost startup company, nothing is already winning game here. Btw I'm using Nothing Phone 1 since year, initially I also got frustrated but as Nothing got feedback of users and fixed bugs properly, now experience is very smooth.
I started my 1st flagship journey from OnePlus 5, then 7 pro and finally 9, the one thing that made me loose interest from OnePlus is collaboration with oppo. I started to feel the lack of minimalistic ui with loads of tweeks. So I finally choose to switch from OnePlus to nothing phone 2, and I'm feeling good. Let's see what happens next.
I am not too sure, Sanchit... I think if possible, you should try to arrange some other unit of OP 11r and test the camera once again because I have seen many other reviews where OP performs better than Nothing 2 in camera department as well.. Anyways, great video as usual ❤

Cons : Underclocked Processor , no Charger in box, slightly overpriced , few users reporting water leakage at back panel, less number of service centres. One plus 11R Pros : Cuved display , better performance , bigger battery with in box charger , tested oxygen os , alert slider, IR blaster, more availability of service centres Cons : Green line issue is a big fear for potential buyers, avg camera performance , no mention of IP rating , polycarbonate frame, no wireless charging . Very genuine explanation, recently I purchased nothing 2 and seriously screen videos feels somewhat dim type to me, something is weird I can't explain in very detail but some software fix is needed I think
Got the nothing phone 2 after watching this video, Used to have a Oneplus before, but the camera issues mentioned in the video were present in my Oneplus 7t too, it's very irritating honestly, the Android 12 update I received was buggy, no update to fix anything, it wasn't even optimized well, the fonts were all over the place. The current oxygen os has no similarity to the OG skin people love, it's just a rebadged color OS with minimal bloatware. Nothing OS seemed like a breath of fresh air. Personally, I found the essential Glyph feature very useful, and no regrets for now. Also for the pricing, the difference is 5k for similarly specced devices, but Nothing has card discounts from popular banks (3k for axis debit and credit) and it reduces the gap to 2k, for that amount it's worth the price bump.

You sort of get what you pay for: Neo 7 pro has 3 years of software and security updates with an independent gaming chip. 11r has 3 years of softare updates and 4 years of security updates. Nothing has a better wide angle camera than both, a unique design, less storage for the price, and compares with OP in terms of software and security support. Both, Nothing and OP have an unlocked bootloader which Iqoo does not.
Nothing got a smooth OS because the real Oxygen OS team is developing Nothing OS, whereas OppoPlus uses the visually less appealing Color OS and it has so many bugs. You don't even get OTA updates on time

Currently using 11R best experience overall. Great Mobile. People are complaining over a period of time, there will be pink or blue line.. It's all sorted & with new mobiles it's not seen... I recommend 11R...

For those who is looking for long term. I used one plus phone for almost 5 year, 7pro and 8 pro. The main issue i faced is, its volume and power button get damaged after 1 year. As a result they open back and loose its value.

There was a time when I fell in love with my friend's oneplus 7 pro. Awesome camera , impressive curved display and excellent performance. And now i want to buy one but Oneplus is not OnePlus it used to be back then. I'm using Realme X started with colourOS and I dont want a phone again with similar UI experience.

I have booked nothing phone 2 with 3k discount on credit card+ 2k on exchange , i am exchanging my poco M2 pro and with that 2k extra for exchange the dea become cool where as for 11r there are no offer at all 😂 and in my case I have ambrane power bank which supports 100w fast charging and I have infinix in book 2 laptop which have 65w adaptor so I dont need that extra for charger and for case you take other local case 😂 I have purchased one from Amazon 275 rs

For camera clear winner is 888 as it is better processor that Exynos so better photo processing. But see 888 is 15-20 k expensive than Exynos so you have to decide your priority

I've used 3 oneplus phones till date and I can tell that this oneplus is not the one it used to be. You will know in a year that the software degrades substantially, and I was forced to go for custom roms. Atleast nothing phone 1 update cycles are a proof that they are working on the bugs, unlike OnePlus(Oppo) providing the colorful version of colorOS as oxygenOS.
Nothing phone 2 is no brainer, recommendation snappy old oss vibes with nothing os, ltpo display stable performance, custom development and more ❤ Benchmarks dont matter stable performance does in 2023 and nothing is way ahead than color os ( tbh lets come to the point its nothing but a repacked color os being called oos just to cater indian audience ) With recent price drops and card discounts and exchange offers in sales no doubt its great in 40k price segment. Regarding charger in box your old phone charger can do it quite well already. Cam hardware is good, use gcam and forget the worries of stock cam processing. Stay away from 11r or free green lines and service centre visits gonna be a reality
Overall the conclusion is OnePlus is Feature Pack phone and don't forget they are giving Free Charger only downside is that the curved display which has problem for sesrching a screenguard and if you ask me about Nothing phone there are couple of more downsides 1) No Charger 2) Very few Back cover and screen guard options too 3) Buggy OS right now but may get resolved in Next Nothing phone hopefully 4) No Macro Lens ( And camera is below Good )
In every section of yours 11r is the better option except the OS. 11r is far better with 40k whereas nothing is 45k +2k(charger)=47k. Nothing is very overpriced. It should be 35-37k max.
Bought 11R 2 DAYS BACK 16gb 256gb . UNLEASHED THE BEST EXPERIENCE. I would suggest everyone if you are buying 11r, go for the 256 gb Variant coz it's comes with 28gb already occupied + photos and videos size is big enough to occupy good space. Its been 2 days and I my device already 45gb occupied though I have just 9 pictures and 2 videos taken.

UI can be considered as a bottle. Bugs can be considered as the neck of the bottle and Stability as the overall quantity the bottle can hold. OxygenOS is extremely stable and has no bugs (I use a Nord 2T), but needs optimization as the battery drains quite quickly making it a bottle with a wide neck but low capacity. Nothing OS on the other hand has bugs but is overall a clean and optimised UI making it a bottle with a narrow neck but high capacity. Now it depends as what u need, a bottle with a wide neck and less capacity like the Oneplus 11r or a bottle with a large capacity but narrow neck. Each one has their own downsides and upsides and purchase should be made on what u need the most. IMO Nothing is a great phone with a very clean UI and being a new company kudos to them for releasing such a competitive phone. Also keep in mind that the OnePlus 11r is available offline but Nothing is only on flipkart and some brand outlets and considering the current customer service of flipkart, I will be aligned towards the OnePlus but would take the Nothing phone any day. BTW love ur videos!

Very genuine explanation, recently I purchased nothing 2 and seriously screen videos feels somewhat dim type to me, something is weird I can't explain in very detail but some software fix is needed I think
Got the nothing phone 2 after watching this video, Used to have a Oneplus before, but the camera issues mentioned in the video were present in my Oneplus 7t too, it's very irritating honestly, the Android 12 update I received was buggy, no update to fix anything, it wasn't even optimized well, the fonts were all over the place. The current oxygen os has no similarity to the OG skin people love, it's just a rebadged color OS with minimal bloatware. Nothing OS seemed like a breath of fresh air. Personally, I found the essential Glyph feature very useful, and no regrets for now.
Also for the pricing, the difference is 5k for similarly specced devices, but Nothing has card discounts from popular banks (3k for axis debit and credit) and it reduces the gap to 2k, for that amount it's worth the price bump.
Phone 2 will get better in few updates..
They made phone 1 a much better phone giving updates regularly.
Hope they replace haptic feedback motors and speakers in their next update 😅

You sort of get what you pay for: Neo 7 pro has 3 years of software and security updates with an independent gaming chip. 11r has 3 years of softare updates and 4 years of security updates. Nothing has a better wide angle camera than both, a unique design, less storage for the price, and compares with OP in terms of software and security support. Both, Nothing and OP have an unlocked bootloader which Iqoo does not.
Nothing got a smooth OS because the real Oxygen OS team is developing Nothing OS, whereas OppoPlus uses the visually less appealing Color OS and it has so many bugs. You don't even get OTA updates on time

I used one plus phone for almost 5 year, 7pro and 8 pro. The main issue i faced is, its volume and power button get damaged after 1 year. As a result they open back and loose its value.

I've used 3 oneplus phones till date and I can tell that this oneplus is not the one it used to be. You will know in a year that the software degrades substantially, and I was forced to go for custom roms. Atleast nothing phone 1 update cycles are a proof that they are working on the bugs, unlike OnePlus(Oppo) providing the colorful version of colorOS as oxygenOS.

Cam hardware is good, use gcam and forget the worries of stock cam processing.

Overall the conclusion is OnePlus is Feature Pack phone and don't forget they are giving Free Charger only downside is that the curved display which has problem for sesrching a screenguard and if you ask me about Nothing phone there are couple of more downsides 1) No Charger 2) Very few Back cover and screen guard options too 3) Buggy OS right now but may get resolved in Next Nothing phone hopefully 4) No Macro Lens ( And camera is below Good )

If you're nitpicking on display, then tell about the resolution difference between OnePlus 11R and Nothing 2.
In every section of yours 11r is the better option except the OS. 11r is far better with 40k whereas nothing is 45k +2k(charger)=47k. Nothing is very overpriced. It should be 35-37k max.
Bought 11R 2 DAYS BACK 16gb 256gb . UNLEASHED THE BEST EXPERIENCE. I would suggest everyone if you are buying 11r, go for the 256 gb Variant coz it's comes with 28gb already occupied + photos and videos size is big enough to occupy good space. Its been 2 days and I my device already 45gb occupied though I have just 9 pictures and 2 videos taken.

UI can be considered as a bottle. Bugs can be considered as the neck of the bottle and Stability as the overall quantity the bottle can hold. OxygenOS is extremely stable and has no bugs (I use a Nord 2T), but needs optimization as the battery drains quite quickly making it a bottle with a wide neck but low capacity. Nothing OS on the other hand has bugs but is overall a clean and optimised UI making it a bottle with a narrow neck but high capacity. Now it depends as what u need, a bottle with a wide neck and less capacity like the Oneplus 11r or a bottle with a large capacity but narrow neck. Each one has their own downsides and upsides and purchase should be made on what u need the most.
IMO Nothing is a great phone with a very clean UI and being a new company kudos to them for releasing such a competitive phone. Also keep in mind that the OnePlus 11r is available offline but Nothing is only on flipkart and some brand outlets and considering the current customer service of flipkart, I will be aligned towards the OnePlus but would take the Nothing phone any day.
