    I am the customer who had this repair done. I am happy to report that the motherboard is working perfectly after 7 months. They do excellent work. I am a tech guy who does most of my own repairs but not this type of high tech repair. The owner has state of the art repair equipment to do these type of repairs. He was very cordial and friendly and easy to work with. In addition he shared his knowledge on other types of repair. Highly
    recommended.

    I used a needle to bend a very few pins and that did the job ( I didn't use a magnify glass or a microscope as I didn't had any )

    Very tricky thing to do and you done it so well with a bit of luck of course with some badly bent twisted pins.

    the easy way to bend them back is to use a tooth brush , very easy and fast . i use it all the time

    Long ago Intel CPUs had pins, and the motherboards had corresponding holes. It couldn't be easier.
    Can someone please explain what has made Intel switch from a perfect system to a fragile mess?

    I always bend pins without Microscope. But this one seems professional bro. Mine i usually bend by using tiny clippers

    There was still a bit pin at 9:11 seconds on the left-hand side at the top second row down pin#2 I know this video is a year old but I couldn’t help it lol

  • @MasterJediSean
    @MasterJediSean 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yup I saw it! Missed a pin on the second motherboard top left corner in video. You may get lucky if it is a no connect. $85 US. you should offer to fix it anyways unless the customer seen it first.

    I have an asus maximus z690 extreme brand new. My cooler is a corsair h150i capellix which I used thermal grizzly kryonaut as the thermal paste but due to testing as receiving q code 55 the paste was so strong I'm sure while removing the cooler from the processor it bent some socket pins on the motherboard. I want to attempt to repair my self..what microscope do yiu recommend? Ir where are you based if you could repair it??

    Wow 85$😯. Nobody will pay this in my country (Germany). We get max. 20€ for this repair and only if this boards works fine.... Otherwise we lose time and no money for work.

  • @uranusxyz2422

    is it possible that the CPU pins could get bent if you press the CPU cooler too hard especially on intel LGA 1700?

    • @TechProFury
      @TechProFury 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No. It's designed to be pressed down hard. It's only other forces in other directions. Or foreign object pressing down in one spot too hard. Or corner of cpu falling on it

    • @Dandan-tg6tj
      @Dandan-tg6tj ปีที่แล้ว +1

      if you pay 300-600 for a motherboard then probably 85 is only fair. If your motherboard is 125 then probably you get a new one and fill your land with garbage. Great thinking. LOL

  • @powerzx
    @powerzx 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I think that those motherboards will not work. Some pins were still not at a proper place, one pin was burned and some pins were still bend and too short.

    I use to do auto keys, on models only could be done buy micro/eeprom. People use to not understand that one honda can be programmed by a clone machine by the el chepo guy down the street for 50 bucks. Then other cars cannot be done without pulling the car/immo box apart. Hey if the man can do it down the street for 50 bucks go get it done. When they come back with no car keys able to programm in. Do not cry for me charging what I have to charge.

    You Didn't Even Test It. CPU Heating Up Does Not Mean That Its Working. If You Break A Whole Row of CPU Pins, It will Still Heat Up.
