People would have believed the concubine over the maid. Once word got out that the treasure was stolen, the empress herself would have gotten in trouble due to negligence as she put her personal servants in charge of keeping it safe.

I genuinely cried when she started dancing. For so long, she had been depressed and reserved due to her position and hardship. After so long of restraining herself and staying composed as the empress, she could finally relax and let loose as a dancer. She could embrace a little freedom in her dance. This is one of the few times when she is fully content. For a short time, she was not the empress, she was just a young woman dancing and having fun.
