Nice shooting! What kind of layout boat are you using? I use an Aquapod and it works great for hunting solo by paddling out to pick up dead birds like you were doing. Do you use a buoy attached to your anchor line so you can reattach to your anchor quickly and in the same spot every time? Also, do you use a front anchor also or just a rear anchor?

Johnny Porter yes we often Hunt two persons. The two boats Will have a distance between them of 15-30 meters. Depending of target and size of decoy spread.
Duckhouse.dk that’s pretty cool! I’ve always hunted where both boats are connected and it works pretty well. Do y’all setup parallel to each other or does the shooter on the left sit slightly back since that would allow a greater shooting angle for the shooter on the right? Is your spread typically a J-hook formation or something different?
Johnny Porter boats are placed parallel. We form a big U with the boats placed in the buttom. When large flocks come in both shooters are within range.
