      There’s some pretty decent ones, if it’s something you really want to go for.
      AIM high on the ASVAB test (GT score of 110 or higher) and you can pretty much qualify for any MOS that’s available. In your case 25B- IT Specialist

    Hey man thank you for the videos. Just out of curiosity how long did it take for you to arrive to your duty station and get your family settled in? Also do you live on base or off base? My main concern is how often I will see my wife. I’m willing to make the commitment I just want an honest answer on how often you get to see your family, I can’t seem to find a solid answer. I’m looking at going into 31b and scheduled to go to meps in a few weeks.

      Thanks for watching! During basic and AIT, you’ll have the opportunity to see your family twice. Once at each graduation, if they come to you. After AIT it was “holiday block leave” so I was able to go back home for about a week and half then report to my duty station. During AIT you want to try to set up as much of your housing accommodations as you can. You’ll find out where you’re going in AIT. It becomes a game of timing at that point. You will have in processing when you arrive to your duty station. Can take about 3-5 days depending on how efficient you/they are. (I’ll come back to this)
      Once my family was here with me, it’s been great. Where I am , we go to the field/desert and stay there every month for 2 weeks. NTC, Ft. Irwin. IYKYK… if I’m not training I’m home every night. Usually working from 0600-1700 but other than that it’s nice, family time is there , and no worries about housing bills, because I do live on post. It’s just more convenient for me having a family. I’m a 92F . Petroleum Supply Specialist. I hope this helps!

      @@victorgibson8587 thanks man I really appreciate the information. I’m actually scheduled to go into my local meps in 2 days to take my asvab. I’ve been studying every night so hopefully I get a good score! Your videos have honestly helped me out more than my recruiter has. I’ve met with a few of them and honestly they’re all the same. They’re just really bad salesmen for the military and want to rush you through the entire process. So watching your stuff is super refreshing, thanks again fam 💯

    • @victorgibson8587
      @victorgibson8587  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s for the base here, we go to the field for two weeks every month then we get a 3 day / 4 day and back at it. So it’s really about 7 days off a month
