Yautjas are also able to do that as well. Lots of clans use Xenomorphs as pet dogs by using pheromones to trick them into believing they are xenomorphs as well. The reason as to why they don't live with them is because Yautja sees more potential in them as prey, so they can hunt them and strengthen their own race in the process.

He loved futuristic cyborgs and the human story more than killer aliens or telling their story. The human part of his movies were a big deal to him. Would still be good tie blade runner in more with the alien franchise, this new movie might even do that.

Authors like to use the Yautja as a measuring stick for how big and bad their new creations are but when you're talking about a species that really only fear failure and dishonor and they happen to carry a little friend on their wrists to remedy that how would they fear anything when they don't even fear death? A lot of authors don't understand how strong Yautjas are or even how their society/philosophy works. The only thing Yautjas fear is dishonor, not even death scares them, neither highly technological species like the Amangi which the Yautja ended up bringing them into submission. The Drukathi always sounded like over the top fan fiction to me, even the engineers don't sound that over the top. At the end of the day we only need to see who is left standing in the universe. Engineers are on the brink of extinction, the Amengi are very few and slaves and the Drukathi are totally missing after the xenomorphs washed them.The Yautjas on the other hand are still kicking ass as they make Xenomorphs thrive in order to hunt them for sport.
