The best 2 upgrades ever are the ones that freeze the enemy when you hit them with a critical and the one where frozen opponents take only crits,so you can make an infinite loop

Very good! In CBT are many bugs like Helga's disappeared sword, also music disappears in the loading screen, when you beat the chapter and lose in next fight in this chapter, you will see victory screen with a scratched banner in the center, etc.

I was using perks which gives all critical attacks in shadow form and attacks during shadow form give shadow energy. (With sarge and Shang 😂)

The only difference and way of winning stories are having all talents. For example Itus fifth talent with the multiple slashes animation. With that talent you can win any story or even the Chronicles with ease (ofc you'll need skill too but talents helps A LOT)

The story mod is very simple, for Jack Bulwark I went through it the first time without perks and spending rubies (I just watched an ad to get 50% hp). For the sarge, it turned out only from the third, because the perks was been extremely bad. And so, there is nothing complicated: a little randomness and skill!

i was able to beat 1st and 2nd boss without jewels and level 8 players. It was fun. I have not gotten to stage 3 boss yet.. but she looks scary.. lol! thanks for peak at what i will compete with.. WOW!!
Tip against Sarge 2nd boss- you can deal damage when he tries to go in shadow form and screams.. He looks scary but damage can happen.
