Thanks for the guide! Any thoughts on Choker of Shielding neck which has active (up to 100k absorb), is it nerfed in pvp? If not it might be new BIS and fellow-up item after crafted boots.

those guides are great, as a new player i am sooo confused by so many things, no idea what to buy, what to craft, how to combine the pieces for optimal stats etc :D i think i ll buy all pieces for honor blue gear that scales up to 411 and work from there
For anyone else that's new, here's what you should do:
Get 6 pieces of the Bloody Token gear for the set bonus, then fill out the rest with honor gear. The honor trinkets give a stam boost so get them first. After that get the head and feet pvp gear crafter through a work order. Then focus on swapping out honor gear for conquest gear while upgrading the bloody token gear.
As of when will you be able to upgrade PvP Rated gear into PvE version with set bonus ? and how ?

The engine of innovation section was basically useless because it didnt tell you where to upgrade the gear or the prerequisites for it...
is using tier set in arena worth using over some conquest gear?
Anyone know if the 2 set verse bonus from drakebreakers works in arena?
So when i buy conquest helm and upgrade it to max pvp lvl it still be the same item in arena ?no better stats, nothing?
Not enough info on how we aquire tier set for pvp. Which was the thing I wanted to know from watching this video.
yeah that could still ruin the season.
If tier set works in arena, and there is no way to get it reliably until like over a month into the season.
Then those lucky few who got it from their vault will dominate. And those with pockets deep enough to buy raid carry runs to get theirs before others do.

Very informative but I have a major feedback - There should have been a section at itself explaining the Quality tiers. I had no idea that it doesn't have any impact on pvp items and that I can buy the cheapest ones. Or do the enchant tiers matter?
The enchant quality tiers matter. Otherwise why would blizz make a crafting system if it's not going to be used
@@austinkerr7356 Well because it can affect only PvE and SkilLCapped is saying in the video, that the basic 1 tier is enough for PvP ilvl. Or did I misunderstood?
@@Mieqo I never heard him say that. He actually says the opposite if u watch it. He says for the neck you have to buy the higher quality to put the 3rd one as a socket

a correction on the neck 'enchant'. a 3 gold will not give you three sockets, it will give you a third socket. you need to use a 1 star, then a 2 star, then a 3 star in that order to get 3 sockets.
You can also use 2 2 stars and 1 3 star. It's actually cheaper this way because 2 stars are going for less than 1 stars for some reason.
@@dylanpayne1798 when i used a single 3 start the first week of the expansion, i got a single slot. a comment on wowhead states you use them in order to get all three slots. my next necklace that's waht i did and it worked.

Regarding your comment about needing two separate sets of gear if you intend on pvping and pveing @4:20. I thought you mentioned the scaling on the fully upgraded pvp gear is better than the pve gear?

@@unusualcreature7574 I had the same doubt as pr718. So the only "drawback" from using upgraded PvP gear to do PvE content (raids with the guild and mythics) is the secondary stats, but not the item level itself, is that correct?

It doesn't apply to hardiness no, it applys only to the trinket set bonus

@@Jorge-hh6gs I believe you are capped at 20.
Hardiness only works for stun, so you will still get 20% reduc on stun, but that's capped. It's still worth getting the other 15% for all other cc types though.
Do the World pvp set bonuses work in Rated pvp?
They do not

@Baiatu_Cu_Paru_Mare I guess you could get a full set of 421 Drakebreaker, and that would technically be better if you get the Vers stack set bonus.

I used a 3 gold icon socket maker on my neck and it only. Gave me 1 socket
I think its 1 socket per use. I bought a 1*, then a 2*, then a 3*. And got 3 sockets that way. Read it somewhere on wowhead.

They've done almost everything right this time. Bringing back the crafted nonsense like the gear, gems and hide enchant things for PvP is not good. I shouldn't have to farm PvE to earn the gold to buy PvP gems, enchants etc. That's my only gripe, and it's a silly one I know. Overall loving DF though best expansion possibly ever.
Please dont tell me I have to spend 500k gold for the best enchants and gems to play pvp only????

I was pretty sad nothing was there and your site seems really confusing could def use a overhaul more user friendly and maybe add a search bar! Sooo I spent $115 for nothing as of right now. Ok, sorry for being dumb af, but if I'm not using Crimson Aspirants gear (411 in pvp) in PVE ( I have PVE gear already), then no use upgrading it as it'll always be 411 in BGs etc? Or did I understand that wrong? xD
Yes thats correct. Theres no need to upgrade if you are using pvp gear ONLY for pvp
so basically, IF I understood correctly.
You just get conquest gear, and it's BIS.

So only skill matters in arena.. not gear.

Sad part, its easier/ almost guaranteed to get all conquest gear and be 450 ilvl, in few weeks, but to get 441/447 nearly impossible for pve.
And yes in 3 months start playing at season 2 dragonflight, i have 410 Pve, all 4/8 veterans or low champion gear.. and 3 conquest and rest are BG pvp gear. Yet it was easier to get pvp, i never done arenas, only reason i have pvp gear is cuz friend ONLY plays pvp, and wants to 2v2 3v3, teams. And i do both 80%more pve.. however i Must be in pvp gear to stand a chance of not getting gank in warmode.
In open world should be pve stats ... but yea i can be in 410PVE and get trained by Blue BG gear. Like wth.
I told everyone solo rated would be dead no incentives...... 20min ques for dps I use to spam rated solo when i had to upgrade gear.... I called it... that's 20min ques at the start of a season imagine the end of one...... 60min que

im very much not a fan of these teir sets and having to use crafting to get my pvp gear. at least the honor gear is decent in dragonflight, but still, they only went half way to making pvp accessible.
Wrong. All the base honor gear is MAX level in arena and BGs and will get you on par with most players as is.

Pvp always would beat pve, ganking. I don't pvp , lfr/raid. Takes weeks or months to get tier piece, mybfriend play his conquest and kills me . I need 2 sets when he use one. . I barley have 3 conquest rest bg, and still can't get in solo . At 432 pvp, but 405 pve. I fly out of town, 2secs later my SPY alert ,goes off every 10secs. No gathering, been chased over 30mins trying to get me. Had to switch to pvp just to stand a chance. But friend never dungeon, tried to mage dps, dies 7 out of 10 blames heals, yet he stands in shit nand don't even notice till screen flashes.
Sad part though I know more about general game /AH/renown/treasures/masters.. friend knows nothing about it cause he don't want to learn, so no point to tell him.. refused to learn how Marcos would help his game play, he been playing 3 months b4 I started, and having 2 70s, but just now learned that he can instant pryo if talent into it. 3months b4 he decides to lookup his roation /gear.
When I looked up Simc myself, knows my rotation , Stat weights all throughout my leveling, know my BIS , crafted and embellish.
And you would never have a pve player make 1st attack on a player, always on defence, in world area.

The sentence where you say that honor comes from unrated stuff like bgs and conquest comes from rated stuff like arenas, show that even skill capped ignores rated battlegrounds and ignores the game mode
