The SX 80 is a professional grinding machine for sharpening the teeth of bandsaw blades, and features all mechanical parts in a machine housing filled with oil. The SX 80 has hardened manual clamps, liquid cooling and variable grinding wheel speed as well as variable speed of bandsaw blade feed.
The SX 80 can grind all common bandsaw tooth profiles such as wood or metal tooth, straight tooth, spaced teeth, carbide teeth, and also Woodmizer W22 shaped teeth with a special profiled CBN grinding wheel (boron chloride cubic).
