Did that walk a couple of days ago. The start is in a state of repair. The gate by the white combe post was on the floor and its all become overgrown

I've been considering that walk for a while - may I ask where you parked? Thanks!

I parked at beckside farm. There is a generous layby there. Then it's a couple of mins down the road to start

Another great video Graham. Could I ask what camera you are using - your photos are so much better than the ones I produce from my lakeland adventures.

+Martin C Hi Martin, you may be surprised to learn that the Photo's are taken on a phones camera, I also have a Panasonic Limix which I also use for the video work. On this trip however the Lumix packed up so all you see is taken on from the camera on a Samsung Galaxy 5 phone.

Great to see you back in the Lakes, Graham. Couple of points: 1) Can you really see the coast of Ireland from Black Combe? It must be 100 miles away. Of course the Isle of Man is visible; maybe banks of cloud on the horizon? 2) Why did AW not include Black Combe in the 214? My guess is simply the distance from the Scafell and Coniston ranges.
Anyway looking forward to the next vid as always.

It is the only place in the country where you can see all 4 countries of the UK as well as fourteen counties on a really clear day

Yes Northern Ireland is visible on the best days, as is Snowdonia (I used to live in Silecroft).
