When they said that the decision for Charlie to take Babe's place was not fair, in part it is since Babe was training him and he knows Charlie's potential, Dean has something that does not fit and does not fit in terms of attitudes, in Well, I'm not here to give spoilers, but rather my point of view since I saw Pit Babe...

In my opinion, it's still not fair. Even without knowing about future episodes, for now Dean has trained hard up to this point. He had a correct attitude until now and more importantly, Alan made a promise. If I were in Dean's position, I would consider giving up or leaving the team for another one. In real life, across various sports, it would be extremely frustrating if someone who has been training diligently for a long time were to be replaced suddenly by a newcomer, without any sort of evaluation of their skills. If Alan didn't ask them to compete with each other Babe would have select Charlie as his replacement without prouving his abilities. Although I am fond of both Babe and Charlie, it's important to acknowledge that even those we admire can make poor decisions. Fortunately, Alan decided to conduct a test between them, and if Charlie wins, even though I will feel sad for Dean, it will seem somewhat more just. It's my opinion on the matter and even if we discover that Dean in the next episode is a bad person, my opinion on this particular matter will not change even if my view of the character does. I hope I was clear enough, sorry my english is not that good yet 😭

I understand everything you say and each person may have a different view on the matter. Clearly Alan is giving him an opportunity if he doesn't take advantage of it because of everything he's been practicing a lot there, it's not anyone's problem, not even Alan, Babe or Charlie, everyone has to put effort into what they do if they don't have the strength or Confidence never goes anywhere no matter how hard you always try, don't worry, my English is not good either🙏🏻
