Instead of using a pantyliner in your shoes (gross, even if clean), try using Moleskin for corns and bunions, from the shoe area at stores like Walmart. It's soft, and you can cut it to the size you need, and it has adhesive across the entire surface of the piece you use, and won't fall apart after wearing the shoes.
I would think the pantyliners would wear down, peel, tear, etc, since they are made in layers, and out of a paper-lined, or plastic-like lining (depending upon brand), and are disposable. And since they're made to absorb moisture and liquids, not cushion against friction.

Used to love high heels when I was young...However when you get old , you view them differently - high heels suddenly look really strange on women - because it hits you that the concept behind them is similar to the old chinese custom of foot binding ! Lol.

The best shoe hack is to not buy or wear shoes that are too narrow/small. And avoid sky-high heels, you'll have hammer toes, corns, bunions, etc later on and you'll get to see the foot doctor in our office as a regular patient!

Some great tips. Also to keep trainers smelling fresh I put one of those little silicon bags that absorb humidity from food inside after training and you can also use a panty liner inside a shoe to dry it quickly
