I take this train from 5th st to 40th and back when I visit the doctor. So far even though you were standing the entire time the camera was steady. Also, it provided the best dark video experience of many I have seen. Thanks for this video.
Finally, I remember that I did ride in it from the beginning to end when I was little in 6 decades ago. It was for the shopping, appointments, events and visitors. Thanks for showing.
HI use to ride this train about 50 years ago from 56th St to Frankford for work on the way back stop in the H&H restraint. Right now i'm in Bangkok Thailand
SEPTA needs update the announcement for Arrott. Aria Health was taken over by Jefferson. Frankford is now Jefferson Frankford Hospital, Not Aria Health Frankford Campus. I've noticed that the tracks on the Frankford side CWR up to a point where it overlaps with the next section. why isn't it completely welded? 1:30 see what I mean? the two rails aren't connected.
I'll probably get destroyed for this haha, but my general understanding is they have to physically separate the tracks just a little bit in order for the block signalling to work... A small voltage potential is created from one track to the other, and when the train enters that section, it shorts out that voltage, telling the signals that a train is (or is no longer) present. (I think!!!!)
When my children were little they thought riding the train was the best thing ever and that exact spot is where they always wanted to sit
I really enjoyed my trip to see the SEPTA trains. They do offer a great view!
Thank you for standing all this time and providing a wonderfully nostalgic trip!
You're welcome! I tried my best! It gets pretty tirig after a while. I'm glad you enjoyed.
My grandmother used to live on 60th st...long ago...

B trains are supposed to go from 60th to Millbourne.

The B is the second one in the morning but will be in the back of the a
A trains skip almost everything
A/B trains only skip 3 stations.
