This is good short and straight to the point other videos are 8 mins long and nit getting straight to the demonstration. Thank you short sweet and helpful
I felt like my feet were being tickled by just watching this video! I don't have any issues with my feet but I always love to watch your videos to learn something new. Thank you 😀
I'm using it for my achilles for a long time, because it helps with my pain, and since I saw your video, I was using the massage gun on the sides too. I got scared and I'm gonna stop and use it properly. Thanks!! I hope I didn't cause any more problems (Type 1 Diabetes too)
Thank you so much for this video. I have been to Podiatrist and he used something like this. If I can do this at home and get better than that will save me heaps of money
thanks for the video. i have arthritis in the toes of both feet, and osteoarthritis on the left talus. i am getting a massage gun next month and look forward to using it for my back, knees, legs and wherever else needed. cheers from southern ontario, canada 🍁
Thank you very much… I appreciate your videos related to massage gun and find them very helpful, with a very good visualization where to use and where to avoid
Can I do this is I rolled my ankle and my ligaments are injured? It feels like it helps and it feels good, but is it actually good for me? Is it really helping? 0:48
No. Don't use it on recently injured tissue because it will increase inflammation. (Over an old injury, where there may be scar tissue but no inflammation could be helpful in some instances)
I have plantar fasciitis and i rupture my foot playing basketball. I have tried putting my foot in ice and also used the massage gun. I been having this pain for 2 months 😢
I'm so happy I've discovered your channel. I didn't know what issue i have with my heel, but now I do. I am interested in purchasing a massage gun. There are a few different models, is there something specific I should look for? Thank you.
I am handicapped. I wear a below-the-knee drop foot brace on my right leg. I have a left foot that had a spur surgically removed in Feb., 2023...AND a total left knee replacement. BOTH of the heels of my feet are SORE when I first stand up. Then, as I get into walking, the pain lessens but does NOT leave! What would be vest for me to use my itek impact massager on my heels please? THANK YOU!!!
I have micro tears in my tendon and I also have a high arch and plantar fasciitis. Is it still ok to use the massage gun on the areas that you mentioned?
I don't think it would help with metatarsalgia. Shoes... depends on your foot. If you over-pronate, or have flat feet, then "pronation support shoes" can really help. Google examples
My feet, legs and calves are still tingling, like pins and needles sensation… is that ok and normal? Does it go away? I had it on and off for like 5-7 days. It gets better when I don’t do it. Definitely less tingling when I don’t do the gun.
@@BodyFixExercises Ok. I was going in for physical therapy and they were using it on me there. Also, the guy was doing a massage where he was pressing down hard with his thumb on top of my foot where the trigger points are and it hurt me. He did this a week ago and it’s still sore there. It kind of feels like a black and blue almost just no marks on the foot. Can that effect the nerves in my legs and give tingling, pins and needles sensation as well?
I'd say something is pressing on a nerve. There are nerves on the top of the foot. It's all muscle tendons on the top of the foot and no muscle belly so there can't really be trigger points on top of the foot. So I would not press there!
@@BodyFixExercises what can happen when pressed there? could he pinch a nerve or injured a muscle tendon? And will the tingling/prickling sensation go away? If yes, how can I go about it? Tingling/prickling even went up to my hands and arms not just feet, ankle, calves & legs. It’s a prickling/tingling sensation on top and bottom of foot. Plus a vibrating sensation
I'd start with once a day, for 2 minutes or so. That's the general recommended amount. If you really want to try more, try two times the next day, then three the day after ... if your get don't get sore. I think 3x a day would be the absolute maximum I'd do though. And remember to do it gently!
Yeh. Just lay down in bed all day an do nothing . You will evolve from amoeba to human. This is a good quide to become your advanced form. Sayain style.
Hi. Should I be applying pressure? I had been using the 'thumb' shaped attachment and was being quite forceful to try to stretch the plantar fascia but maybe that was wrong 😳
A bit of gentle tingling for 30secs-1 min is ok. Any more means you need to either... reduce the speed, don't press into the foot so hard, or get a gun with less percussion depth (6-8mm is good but a Theragun for example is too deep).
The one I used on this video got very loud after a few months of using it, so I don't use it now. I recommend the Bob & Brad massage guns. (The C2 model, but any model of theirs really.) They're the best value massage gun for the price and I only really use them now. I have a video on how to choose a massage gun too. That might help. Cheers
Do the running shoes with cushioning (like Asics Nimbus model, as example) make the foot sore and stiff? After years of wearing those kind of shoes I feel that my foot is contracted and trying to release by stepping on the lacross ball is very painful, what do you think about this? What footwear to choose for running?
You can use it on other parts of your foot but I certainly wouldn't use it near the sesamoid bones if they're inflamed. Massage guns can irritate inflammation
Question : 51 years old, I have morton's neuroma both feet, I have also had trabulectomy eye surgery on both eyes, two years ago, would it be okay to use the gun, please reply sir
Just steer clear of the neuroma. A massage gun could irritate it. You shouldn't use a massage gun on your neck or head anyway (check out my neck/shoulder massage gun video) . The closest place you should use a massage gun too your head is your traps normally. But I'm not familiar with that eye surgery so you'd have to check with your doctor sorry
I use the u shaped head on my feet. It's especially good on the bottom of my heels. When I use it on my arches my toes move on their own. I imagine that's the nerves.

Did you notice that tingling in your feet after using the massager?
Yes! After running the gun for some time. Is that normal? Even the hand that i use holding the gun feels tingling if i hold it or run for some time
Can you please explain why that tingling happens?
No but my foot felt much better 👍🏼
It's because the blood is flowing better. When your legs are cold It's because of poor circulation. Massaging it almost feels like the blood itches
Nice bro ❤❤
Straight to the point. I like that...4th video I've seen and he's the only one not talking at the speed of light, or trying to be cute
Cheers Terrence.

Ahh. A minute girl.

I feel like if all the videos I have watched so far on plantar fasciitis, this is the best.

I got this gun and when I tell u I shot right thru a muscle Knot in my foot and that shit was the most sensational thing I’ve ever felt in my life.

Any Bob and Brad massage gun is a pretty good buy. On Amazon. The C2 or T2 models are my faves. I have a video on choosing a massage gun actually
If you u haven’t gotten one yet then I suggest getting the elefor massage gun
Bonjour vraiment besoin de ceci pour commercialiser cela au Cameroun
You can get it on Amazon. The best, from my experience, is the "Bob and Brad C2'" or T2 massage gun
Thank you so much.alhamdulillah.

Glad you think so!
Wouldn't it be better for an old fasciitis (in which I often get cramps due to being very contracted) another type of foot massager?

Depends on the severity of the fasciitis. If it's mild it's fine

Bob and Brad C2
I have a whole video on which massage guns to get

STOP using the gun. Any tingling sensation should be very mild, pleasant, and shouldn't last more than a minute

Who's with bad circulation on the feet can use massage gun? Thanks for answer!
If you have bad circulation in your feet you can use the massage gun on your feet (but as long as the bad circulation is not from Diabetes)

Not that I know of

Hi. Should I be applying pressure? I had been using the 'thumb' shaped attachment and was being quite forceful to try to stretch the plantar fascia but maybe that was wrong 😳
Do it gently! You don't need to press much at all
Your aim is to increase the blood flow to the plantar fascia not stretch it
Thank you 😊

Why avoid the ball of the foot, though? I'm curious because that's where most of my pain is. It looks like it would feel good there for me lol
It's very bony and you can irritate the joint
2:16 photo of where to put massage gun
2:52 do calves too with the side of the ball
What does it mean when you feel tingling afterwards? Is that bad?
A bit of gentle tingling for 30secs-1 min is ok.

I like Asics. You might have a bit of plantar fascitis, so maybe check my video on that
Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22 are very helpful for proprioception and ankle stability
love your stuff would like to pass it along if possible
Sure. Go for it.
Your wife/master already knows it. Teach it to her children before she does
How many time we can do it ?weekly?
Your can do it daily... but stick to two minutes maximum, each foot, as a good general rule
can I use it if I have sesamoiditis?
You can use it on other parts of your foot but I certainly wouldn't use it near the sesamoid bones if they're inflamed. Massage guns can irritate inflammation
The side of the ball can cause a friction burn if left on too long against the skin.
Interesting. I haven't noticed that. But I never push it against the body much. Maybe you are pressing the massage gun into the body too hard.
I tend to keep the massager moving too, rather than leaving it over spot
