The TT Wrap Is Complete... For Now...

- Hey Everyone,
Today we are continuing the TT vinyl wrap with the goal of finally covering the entire car. While we still have a handful of panels I'd like to redo, I think it would be a good idea to see how far the car has come by taking it into the sun. I can't wait to see how this car ends up when we have more time to make improvements.

Hey, Hunter, you seem to be overly preoccupied and worried about how fast and how perfectly you’re learning to wrap your cars. I actually think you’re doing a fabulous job, and am quite impressed with how they turned out. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Step back and admire your overall accomplishments.
I Love your channel. I agree with another viewer who said your videos are more about the philosophy of car maintenance. That’s cool. Keep up the good work.
Incidentally, I have a 2002 TT Roadster Quattro 225 with the Nimbus Gray Pearl exterior and the optional Amber Baseball Optic leather interior, with 70,000 miles. A friend of mine who’s a top-notch mechanic replaced the convertible top last year. And recently the 6-speed shifter bushings and shifter cable end catches were replaced, similar to your projects.

Great video. My 2001 TT has original paint, dark green which hides the imperfections (a bit), lucky because there are many imperfections... I also used to obsess about having an aesthetically perfect car, but i decided to keep the scars, more of a 'survivor' look, for many of the reasons you mentioned! Better to enjoy the car than spend too much time perfecting something that pretty much we alone notice...

Plus, I have a TT and I used to have a B5 A4, so it is a bit of nostalgia and ideas for the present so I am all about the content as well.

I'm filling in the indent around the grill, license plate area and headlight washers before I wrap mine. But I feel your pain I obsesse over everything, I'm too much of a perfectionist. This is part of the reason I'm filling those areas in now 😅. The car looks clean bro 🤙🏼🔥

Beautiful!! You make some very nice films with those classy cars sir, but one thing triggers me and I have to know if your willing to share. I live in a small Iowa town, and the grain bin backgrounds make me wonder why of when you have all the nature? Is there beauty in galvanized steel that I'm blind or ignorant to? Curious minds want to know! 🙃
Hey thank you! Man... That's such an interesting question though and there are so many ways I could try and answer it. I am pretty stoked you got that from the video by the way. I guess it all depends on how beauty is defined. From my perspective beauty can be both natural and man made. Hence how something like a car, building, or a film can be described as beautiful at the same time as nature being described using the same word. It's the contrast between the two that is part of what makes the world interesting to me. The dichotomy. I've always loved visual textures and contrast, so posing something as different as galvanized steel in the same video as a river is a way I tried bring that exact idea into question. Shoot me a DM if you wanna chat more about it. It's a super interesting thought experiment to me!

BTW I’d like to ask if you are producing your own music here? I’m a seasoned composer with days of music. If this is indeed yours, t’would be cool to colab on something. Gorgeous car and amazing content you really inspired me to make my tt something special, how much would you estimate a wrap would’ve costed you, it would be my first time so I’d probably need triple what it would take a professional, also what are you using to mount your wing extension I have the same on mine but 3m tape is never enough to keep it on.

The TT looks great now, Hunter. I was rooting for the purple wrap, but this blue wrap suits the really car well. Great choice.💙 Have you considered freshening up the lower bumper grills? They look kind of dull compared to the new top grill, the black mirrors and the shiny blue.
