Im glad i discovered your channel. I appreciate your thorough and logical approach to problems. Also, your commentary is very informative. Keep your videos coming!
I have done warranty work for Zero Zone and you have to give those units credit. They're easy to work on repair which is good thing given there issues.
New Sub here, non Tech but in the const industry. You have a heck of a good trade. Stuff is fascinating. If I had to do a re-do I think it would be Refrig.
Nice, can't find alot of zero zone stuff on here, and it sounds like I will be working on them a lot at the chain the company services
Sorry to be so offtopic but does anyone know a tool to get back into an Instagram account??
I was stupid lost my account password. I appreciate any tips you can give me!
@Darian Ahmed instablaster ;)
@Levi Anson i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process atm.
Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Levi Anson it did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thanks so much you saved my ass :D
@Darian Ahmed You are welcome :)
Really good content bro keep doin wat you doin and you channel will grow soon love watching your videos
Exelente performer ,,,,that control Emerson what it is for ? How dos work? I am learning,,,,,,,,,,,,
Seems like a heated condensate below would make more sense than pumping to the top of the box.
Theres an overflow tube from the pan that runs down to the floor anyway lol
There isnt any room, there is a special tiny condensate pump below.
Mmm, meat juice popsicles!
delicious
I run into this issue a lot on these cases. I spoke with zero zone tech support and the guy told me it's because of the drip time not being long enough. And that an additional heater is not needed. What do you think about that?
Just saying, if that drain heater is a constant issue, why not jump ahead to your customer and throw that into a PM to prevent product loss. I know the real world won't pay for prevention most of the time.
Cause that cost money. Product loss is covered under insurance. They don’t care.
DG doesn't work that way, they dont do any prevention. They only repair when it fails
Just did that, and as well put a drain line heater
That is stupid design why can't drain pan be underneath case so your pumping water to the top of the case .You probably could fit an low profile drain pan fit it underneath the case .Now l understand why you couldn't defrost the case .
Good job. Got to have heat to melt the ice!
You got that right!
Hey man just found your channel. Subscribed 👍 do you work for a national company that starts with a S?
Now they need to replace the food
oh yeah- its no good now
wher dose the water go when it gets pumped on top of the unit ?
Intresting how its done i expected a floor drain of som sort
Water boil off at the drain pan heater
Awesome video
Ive worked on so many of these. Zero zone is bottom of the barrel. All the discount stores use them.
Dollar general?
Probably, they don't do any maintenance. Don't buy ice cream there, ever. Source: I'm an on staff tech for an ice cream distribution company.
If its been at 91 degrees for several days, why is there still ice in the bottom?
Cold air doesn't rise. The system was still running but the cold air was trapped at the bottom of the freezer as the fans were frozen shut.
Meat juice ice cream AND popsicle is crazy nasty 😊
You sound like the dude from postal
They should have stripped case, wtf is wrong with them
Why aren’t they just draining the water into a drain on the floor or tie it into the sewage line?? Pretty gross that it dumps that nasty contaminated water to sit and stew on top
Curious HVAC guy most definitely and it would improve the life of those copper lines it might lose some of its efficiency but that’s better than losing its charge from rotting out
My thoughts exactly, i guess they design it to pump the condensate water and muck up the basin on the top, then the calrod heating element coil is suppose to come on and simmer it off.
