You provide a lot of valuable information with your videos but it warms my heart that you think it's important to display diversity in your card making process. Thank you so much ❤️
My favorite way of directing lining up cardstock along the edges of a card base is to use liquid glue, put them together as closely as I can, then stand them up together (like when you're straightening a deck of playing cards before putting them in the box).
Thanks for sharing you talent. My mission this year is to use paper that i have on hand, aside from white and black. I have tons, plus bins and bins of scraps. Since finding your channel, Ive been going crazy making dozens of cards.
I love what you do!! Thank you so much for giving me a starting point when I’m stuck! I can’t even begin to tell you how much paper I have and it is all 12 x 12 paper pads. I’m hoping to be able to get through some of them using your sketchers. I will share them on Instagram as I go. I am so excited right now. I’m going to try and use template one. Let’s see what happens!
Awesome tutorial! Great tip on lining up the card fronts . Your cards are adorable, crazy about the color choices and stickers . It’s never too early to make spring cards .
I don't think it is too early for spring cards 😀 Heck, people started Christmas card videos in July. I am ready for spring and starting to make some spring cards. In fact, I am looking for inspiration for a card set to give my sister before Teacher Appreciation week in May. She is a teacher and gives out tons of TA cards as well as thank you cards. I am going to do a couple different one-sheet wonder type cards using teacher-themed paper and I likely will use one of your designs. So thanks for the inspiration. Edit: I think you can call paper that can go in either direction "non-directional." I think that is the term for any pattern that can go in any direction.
Thank you Olivia! Definitely wishing for some spring weather today! Thermometer is reading negative at the moment. So sweet of you to make a set of cards for your sister.
Thank you so much for this video. I really enjoy watching them. There is a group of talented crafters I follow on TH-cam and you all inspire me. Plus this is my escape from all going on in my life...
Hi Jess, I love your videos and you always inspire me. In quilting we call it "non-directional pattern fabric" so maybe paper could be non- directional too.
Jess, have you tried attaching a post-it note to your paper to hold it when cutting tiny strips? That's usually a pretty good option for me if it has enough surface area to stick to😊

Would it work to add a post-it note "handle" to hold your narrow strips when you are cutting 1/2" strips? Post-it notes could be used more than once. Love stacking cardstock scraps to replace foam tape.
Not the perfect word, but omnidirectional might work for all directions. Attach small strips to post-it notes to push under the cutter safety bar to cut small strips. Really like your videos.

Thank you so much ❤️
Bright & cheerful. 😁
The corner tip is so helpful. Love the cards!
Hi Jess. Beautiful cards. Great video as always. TFS. Much appreciated. 💙🤗
Thanks so much!
I like how solid colored cardstock mats make the printed papers pop.
I love these cards. They look so pretty 😍

When cutting small pieces you can always use a sticky note to hold it when you are cutting your smaller pices😊
I love the way you demonstrate your work.
Thank you so much!
Hi Jess, Love the templates, and how you put them together, you make it looks simple and the cards are cute, TFS, Cheers Anna.
Thanks so much!
Love the layout and cards. So cute!
Thanks so much!
very nice ... I too have that trimmer and love it
thank you so much I have so many old paper pads I need to use up and this will be a great way thanks

That makes me so happy Beth! I really love hearing that my videos help people turn all their beautiful supplies into even more beautiful cards!
Non directional pattern!!! or all over pattern! Super cute design. I'll be using soon!
Thank you! So glad I'm able to get the collective brilliance of other crafters.
@@JessCrafts always happy to share! I love your designs!
Use a Post-it to hold the small piece to help you cut it

A scoreboard also works for placing the full size layers on the card base.
Yes! Great example and probably the one most people have. I'll have to remember that option!
Beautiful cards 😻 I love the pattern papers, the cute images and your one sheet wonder card designs ❤ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx

Hi Tracy, that makes sense. I'm used to the idea of directional fabric yet my brain never made the connection. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the tip! I haven't tried it yet but several people have mentioned it so I will try it next time.
Use a post it to make the paper a little longer. It works. I tried it.
Thank you for sharing that tip! I'll definitely be giving it a try!
Hi Jess, your cards are beautiful 😍. Thank you for sharing 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
Super cute template, Jess! Yes, I’m ready for spring!! 💙💙💙
How about "multi-directional" patterned paper? LOL I love your cards!!
Awesome video Jess! I feel inspired. Thanks so much!!!
Awesome! Thank you!
I have always used my score board to line up papers on a card front. I think I learned that trick a year or so ago from Maymay Made It.
Love the cards. What is your pokie tool thingy? Love it. Its not listed.

How about "multi-directional" to describe patterned paper that can be used in any layout? Thank you for the great template for 12x12 patterned papers.
Great idea! Thank you!

Great tip Sarah! Thanks for sharing. Will definitely be trying that.
You can remove the bar is you need to trim smaller pieces. I have the same trimmer and I’ve remjj in bed my green bar for that reason. Just be careful
Could you stick a post it note on your paper when it gets too small to work in your trimmer??
Thank you for sharing that tip! I'll definitely be giving it a try!
Perhaps omnidirectional is the word your looking for....
Great suggestion, thank you.
non directional
