@@ScruffyLookinRGB well to be honest I don't have great eyesight for a small screen.i did like the GameCube game boy player.i enjoyed that but foolishly got rid of it and regret it since lol.
Super Mario World! My favorite Super Mario game. That's a definite buy for me when I get back to Japan! Gotta have it portable. Awesome video, my friend! And nice to see some Neo Geo Pocket as well.
Hey scruffy loved the video. I would say for disc based and ds i preffer CIB but for cartridge games like nes, gameboy i prefer the deal and it saves space. Also i dont have to worry i damage the box.
That is a good point since disk games are so fragile anyways, probably best to have them in their jewel cases. I agree for cart based games much cheaper and easier to store. Have you ever accidentally damaged one of your boxed games?
Man, I love the gba focus. One of my favorite consoles ever. I would love to get boxed games but they are getting so expensive. Loose are much more reasonably priced. I would have grabbed that mario 2 famicom mini for gba, the Magical Vacation for gba, the DragonBall Advanced Adventure and maybe the Fzero in the box for gba. If I was there now, I'd be so broke
Glad you are enjoying it. GBA feels great in the hands for sure and it has a fantastic library of games too. I agree loose games are much more affordable and they are so easy to store. That is a great list of games to pick up love the fds and famicom rereleased games for gba too. I totally understand the being broke part its hard to hold back sometimes. 😅
Gutted I missed the premiere! Loved the editing in this one dude, really slick. Great selection of titles here, especially seeing some Neo Geo Pocket and Virtual Boy games. Whilst I would probably be in the minority I'd love to see a hunt looking at the old toys and figures that a lot of these places have, I found some great Ultraman and Kamen Rider toys in my visits.
I will have to take a look at some old toys too as you know im a big starwars fan and love old japanese toys as well ill make sure to capture some of it next time.
Cool to see those Virtual Boy games! I’ve only tried a VB once, it’s a fascinating piece of hardware! I try to buy boxed games. They are pretty to look at and it also makes me more selective in what I buy.
Bjorn i think ive played vb about the same amount as you. That is a good point. Collecting boxed games is a good way to keep the numbers of carts to display down and more likely to display them than shove them away in a box somewhere.
Looks like World Mobile’s got some hot deals. Hardware here in the states tends to be pretty out there, at least at gaming specific shops. Wish the 3DS wasn’t region locked, would love to import one of those special editions.
@@ScruffyLookinRGB Not sure, my guess is the system isn't quite old enough for someone to have found an easy region mod, but definitely something to look out for. Playing Dragon Quest in English on that Japanese metal slime 3DS is the dream
@@ScruffyLookinRGB ah wouldn't you know it, MVG just put out an excellent video on 3DS homebrew: th-cam.com/video/vUrIWa-o16U/w-d-xo.html Seems simple enough these days thanks to the SD card slot
Glad you agree with me. I was the same way too even as a kid i loved to keep my games in the box. Whats one of your childhood games that you have kepts in the box and your really glad that you did?
@@ScruffyLookinRGB I've kept every Pokemon game since GB. I've kept most manuals for most of my other games but alot got ruined while in my outside storage unit.
@@ScruffyLookinRGB I don't have any really rare titles due to limited funds. Most of the games are quite common. Even those tend to be a bit spendy these days. The most expensive game that I have is Konami's Frogger for the MSX...believe it or not. :) They go for over 300 USD in good condition.
I'm glad to see your finding so many great games .people that are into Gameboy games must be loving this video!.
Thanks i hope you found some thing of interest as well. Do you have a favorite handheld?

Nice run! Love the junk Gameboy consoles. Been watching the Olympics and it's awesome!
Glad you enjoyed it man! You do any gameboy modding?
@@ScruffyLookinRGB I have never tried. Minor soldering doesn't look to difficult for an IPS screen from the videos I have watched.

Can't go wrong with the classics, especially the Famicom Mini Series games for the Gameboy Advance
They are a great nod to the originals

Yeah of course to be cool to see some Olympic festivities and I know it's quite strict.
Glad you think so i will try to atleast add some of the event locations in my upcoming videos.

That is a shame how pricey things are in the states. Is there a region free mod for the 3ds? I didn't realize it was region locked.

Nice looking DS and 3DS consoles! And same wish than Luke Thomas (wish the 3DS wasn't region locked).
It is a darn shame have you ever looked into mods that allow you to change the region lock? I wonder if it is possible?
