    Hell yea! Sounds and looks solid.
    Lucky too you didn't just have it all apart and up in the air for the clutch.

      I had a thought... Possibly the engine was torquing enough under high psi that my hydraulic clutch was pulling on the lever just enough to reduce some tension on the pressure plate (it was tight after putting the engine back in). Otherwise that's more custom rigging as they don't make performance clutches for these 😬

      @@DirtGearTv I bet you can get one made for it since you haven't invested that much yet. Lol. 15 is rad. I'm a push it guy but that enough. Nailed it.

    Hey I just want to commend you for paving the way with this engine. I've had an eye on the Mirage for a while and I think it's great... Seems this engine is great too.

    Id really love to see more support for these engines. It kinda seems like the last "tuner" engine left in the states that you can buy new. Old, simple tech that can be improved with some easy mods if they are available lol.

    Very nice! Cvt would've handled it too. It's same as in 2.0 nissan and should handle the 3a92 +hp

      How come?

      @@samusaran7317 I think the company that makes many CVT transmissions for passenger cars is called Jatco. The transmission in the Mirage is a Jatco with a power rating for much more power than the 3A92 makes, but still breaks sometime after 150k miles because it's a CVT and they suck

    Loving the work. Where did you get the 3a92 flange for your log mani?

    • @DirtGearTv
      @DirtGearTv  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Unfortunately had to make these flanges by hand 🫤

    Dude nice what clutch you are running?

    • @DirtGearTv
      @DirtGearTv  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s an aftermarket clutch from “southeast clutch”, it may not have the same clamping force as the original 🤷‍♂️

      @@mirage3a92turbo7 Dang, that’s not what I wanted to hear. I may have to modify my flywheel to accept a larger/stronger pressure plate. Don’t know why these aftermarket brands aren’t making more parts by now...

      @@DirtGearTv you are right there’s a lot of boosted ones in Asia but no one have any idea to run more power! You can let me know later what setup you’re running in your head!

      On dirt its likely way less of an issue.
