Dear Majovel, I would love to make this jacket for my nephew who is coming in September, but I am struggling. After you make the first 9 double crochet you make the 2 chains, than another double crochet into the same 9. stitch. This stitch does it already count as the first stitch of the 14 you need for the armhole? I have tried 3 times now. Can also do 23 back . 19+19 sleeves + 11 and 11 front

Same thing happening with me if i start with 65 n use extra 3 chns of 1st round .. I want to know how many dcs we should have at the end of row 1.
