A couple years before my mother passed away she took all her gold pieces, rings, earrings and medals, and sold them in exchange for a couple of diamond earrings, really beautiful. Crafted by a jeweler friend. I'm an only son, so she told me than after her dead those earrings will be for my future wife. Months after her dead I went to a friends wedding with my girlfriend. I told her that those earrings would look amazing on her in the wedding. She totally refused, to the point to tell me that she will never wear it. Those earrings are yours, she told me.
