I think it would be better for the dawgs to play in the 1st Rd because then they can stay in rhythm or maybe sustain some momentum going into the QF Rd, etc.
The extra time to prepare is good however, it can also be a bad thing if ga has too many injuries. This past season in 2024, they had the extra time but they were not prepared for Norte Dame.
