I am from Ujjain MP . I visit mahakal often and it is an indescribable spiritual cleansing every time.
The basic form of temple is same as it used to be decades ago. However , Shivraj Singh BJP government has done lot to improve the mob control. Once you enter inside , you feel a different vibration completely.

I did it, but couldn’t continue it because I didn’t know how 🤔 I stayed awake whilst I slept, I have never felt more alive and fresh on those mornings, just being in this state for maybe 2 or 3 hrs is more than enough everything feels alive within your self, you get to experience peace, quite stillness, & just a sense of profound involvement not just with yourself but everything around you.... it’s the deepest truth and as close to nature you can get ... to be & yet not to be.... cannot explain it without sounding crazy... can only say
