I have a 2019 373MBRB and our family loves the amount of space this unit gives us. The second full bathroom with a big family comes in very handy. I tow this with a 1 ton dually and I think anything less would be tough. Once again JD, love your content and thanks for sharing this unit.
Now all I need is one of those custom super-duty six-door trucks and my family will be all set. I love the two full bathrooms. This would also be perfect if I had a piece of land to just leave it on and enjoy. Thanks for another great video.
One of the best floor plans I’ve seen in any RV. Plus an outdoor kitchen, which is awesome! The only thing different I’d like is to somehow have more seating in the living room area. I know there’s another couch in the back bunk room but that’s a different room. However, for a big family, I don’t think I’ve seen anything better. Nice job by Coachman!
My wife and I just got into the towed RVs market with a travel trailer, and I've got to say I hate the fact this trailer has no competition for the day we have teenagers. Thanks for the presentation JD, and here's hoping there are a number of competitors by the time we're looking to buy this model!
I've been watching these videos for months and this is the most intelligent layout I have ever seen in this type of vehicle. The master bedroom even has bedside tables that you can put a drink on which is rare. If you had two older kids they could have a bedroom each and sleep in the top bunk, using the lower bunk space for a desk or storage.
Wow! Huge 5th wheel with room for a really large family or grandparents who want to take a bunch of grands camping. If this was used by a couple, the second bath is a marriage saver for sure!
I have a 2014 have issues with it but learning to get to know it. Camped 4 times with it at 1 to 2 weeks at a time. Bath sink is plumed to black tank witch make it inposeable to boondock over a week. Working on getting it changed.
I have a Coachmen Chaparral and love it. I would purchase this unit in a couple of years when I retire because we will live in Arizona and would spend the Summers in Flagstaff Az or Colorado from May thru September and this would be great for full time living during those months. Also have 13 grandkids that would love to spend time with us during the summers
I like the layout. Nothing they can do but all those sleeping beds and 2 recliners to watch TV? The biggest issue is a 1900 lbs cargo capacity for such a big RV and many people, this is seriously lacking.
I think this unit would be great especially if you have boys and girls that are starting to get a little older and don’t wanna share a room. I am in that situation now but I can’t convince my wife to get a fifth wheel with no way to tow the golf cart
I paused the video, went out to the Coachmen site to poke around, saw it had an outside kitchen, came back to your video, only to press play just in time to see you miss it! Haha, great show in any case, this is an awesome rig. King bed option and I would be signing a check right now.
Hey JD, nice presentation. Quick question. We talked before about my siding fading on one side. That is still a battle but I'm staying just ahead of it by polish every three months. Arizona has been brutal but I'm dealing with wall paper peeling by the seems, top corners. Any ideas on that? Mine is a 2017 Chaparral and we are about to start building a shop to store it indoors. Trying to decide a fix or strip it all and paint. Big job there.
I see a lot of possibilities for this, especially if people don't look at it as though everything is fixed in place. If the bunks could be removed, that would make a fantastic multipurpose room, or a nursery for a baby, a castle for a "prince" or "princess", the list goes on (as a full-timer, every space is looked at as a potentially different space). I would still like to see these manufacturers start putting an internet outlet for hardwiring internet for those who need to do that next to the Sat/Cable connections.
Very nice layout for a lot of sleeping space. Odd that the fresh water tank is only 48 gal with the much larger sized gray and black tanks. Great review as always JD.
I can imagine a certain TH-camr family looking at this one in a year or two when they out-grow their current bunkhouse RV. Although I think it could stand to have a bit more interior living room.
Hey Jd,just got this unit and love it..just can't figure out what the coax connections are below the main cable and satellite TV connections in wet bay?..your unit has same connections...do you know what they are for? Thanks bud
Very good video, you showed and gave a lot of information in a short amount of time. I would suggest a little more technical information though. When I saw two full baths, the first thing that popped in my head was how big are the holding tanks.
Hi JD I looking to buy a Jayco Eagle 321rsts or similar. I’m thinking about a F350 not sure on the motor 7.3 gas or 6.7 diesel what do you think. Not full time but plan on seeing the USA.
For the cost of that unit, I'd think you'd expect that they would use a full panel on that "big blank wall". Having the seam be visible only draws your attention to it...
nice set up for family, that back room could be teenagers private room, or office, 2 younger kids in middle room, is the kind of bunk setup i would like if i needed that, if 2 kids each have private room, or have dedicated game and such room, they sleep in other one, that rear bunk room can be anything, 2nd living room, especially if remove upper bunk above couch..
Your dad raised you well. Priority number one is the coffee maker. Also my suggestion for anyone buying a 5th wheel is never buy one without a significant area for a sizable washer/dryer. The one in this coach would be for a child's barbie washer/dryer. If you wouldn't tolerate this at your house why would you settle for less in a condo on wheels? Forget about coin laundry!
Great video. I am new to travel trailer and looking for the best one for a family of 4 (two adults and 2 kids) and also half ton towable. Any suggestions? Thanks so much.
This might be a nice option for one of my other favorite youtube channel's, No Ordinary Path. I just watched a recent video with them looking to upgrade from their tt. I think it would be awesome if y'all collaborated in their search!!
Idk im still obsessed with motorhomes. No fifth wheel can make me like them anymore lol. The only other rv i actually love still is the luxe toy hauler that one day i hope i can get. I did like the 2 beds in this one that was nice.
I also noticed that if you have 3 bedrooms sleeping approx 6+ but seating for watching TV for 2, how does that work? Take turns sitting on the floor 1 foot away from the TV or take turns watching and waiting in the "bunk house" for the TV to be available? Horrible set up for a large family, space not used efficiently. Now I know what not to buy.
If it has two 7,000 pound axials--wouldn't the GVWR be 14,000 lbs? How do they calculate to be at 15,000 lbs? The cargo capacity of 1,929 lbs is not very much---if you add solar panels/batteries/onan generator-fuel tank?/full propane/satellite dish/washer/dryer/extra coolers/food/water/heaver mattresses/bikes and your stuff. I love our 5ver with the front cap all hanging wardrobe with spot for optional for washer and dryer. (we would never get one--to much weight and the risk of water leaks) East/west facing bed.. Would never buy another without it. For the weight I would expect 8K axles. Why can't manufactures install the 8k axles??
@@phonetech1109 I was thinking of that, I am asking because our 35 foot toy hauler has two 7ks and our GVWR is only 14,000 lbs. I guess they weren't doing that ratio in 2011
Two bath is terrific but the kitchen/living room layout is backwards. The tv should be opposite all the seating area. It's raining and only two people get to watch TV.
That is a very interesting fifth wheel travel trailer. Two full bathrooms and three bedrooms with a living room dining room entertaining area. I could live in that easily. I wonder how much you’re selling it for?
@@sljack1671 thanks for answering me. If it was $50,000. I would be more inclined to make the deal. COVID-19 prices are becoming increasingly difficult.
Interesting layout with tons of sleeping space. 2 problems with all of that though; very little "sitting" space, and only 1900 lbs of weight carrying capacity.
OK.. the entertainment is on the wrong side... blocking out where nice windows on the "lakeside" side. They could have done something with the TV on that blank wall and put more seating area in the "living room". The bunkhouse and 2nd bath is nice but I dont need that kind of room. Even if I needed that I wouldnt opt for this. I have a 2016 Coachman Catalina with a rear living room... its at my lake property and I like it because its like a mini apartment but I would love a 5th wheel set up with the living room up front. A girl can dream :)
Really love this floor plan! We looked at several of the 20222 and 2023s they had on the lot. But the front storage/generator box area and how the wiring is in such disarray is a concern! It's like the wiring person has no pride at all in their work. All of them looked like a complete rats nest under the front storage!!!
I would get rid of that middle bunk room. Kitchen needs to be bigger and the living room needs another couch. I can't imagine five people in that room let alone seven .
I don't know about this one. If you're gonna partition this much space off for mostly a bunch of kids beds, why not just get a toy hauler? I appreciate the different approach, but if it were me I would just get a toy hauler and have all the extra bed space and the use of the garage.
Sleeps 9 - dining for 4. It seems cramped and closed off to me even before you put 9 people and all their crap in it. I suppose there is appeal for larger families - but to get 9 people going wherever you decide to haul this to is going to require 2 vehicles. Also not a fan of the 2nd door opening right onto the toilet.
Is it me but this looked cramped for a unit of this size. Now it may be the bland colors that doesn't make it pop. For a 91,000 dollar unit, just doesn't look it to me.
Love it!! I’m leaning toward buying something like this vs a house right now 🤔
I have a 2019 373MBRB and our family loves the amount of space this unit gives us. The second full bathroom with a big family comes in very handy. I tow this with a 1 ton dually and I think anything less would be tough. Once again JD, love your content and thanks for sharing this unit.
how big are the beds in the mid bunk area? I have a very tall 11-yr old. Thank you!

This is a fantastic layout. For my needs, the mid bunk could go and free up room for something else.
Reminds me of the tour you did a while ago of a toy hauler with a bunk house, so much sleeping space.
Very nice 5th wheel. The two bathrooms and double bunk rooms are a great addition.
This would be a good camper for traveling construction workers. 3 guys could split lot rent and fuel costs.
Very true
Which traveling worker gets the master bedroom?

I'd love this unit for my Dad and I to live in but it's a bit out of my budget at this time thks for a preview the design is so perfect
Looking for one for my brother and I as well. Have you found any other’s that suited you two well?

Interesting design - glad to see some other options in addition to the avalanche 390DS

Love that it's so spacious and comfortably sleeps plenty of people. ❤

I like the layout. Nothing they can do but all those sleeping beds and 2 recliners to watch TV? The biggest issue is a 1900 lbs cargo capacity for such a big RV and many people, this is seriously lacking.
Here’s an idea, when doing these video tours show every compartment outside. Cover every feature inside and out!
Those two baths especially the tub is a huge selling point for me! (4kids)
This is amazing, lot of room.

If I got this, the big blank wall would get bookshelves. I'd intend it to be a residential use, so bookshelves would be useable.
If we ever go full time...this is the one we want
Really like the floor plan!
Thanks for the presentation JD but you really need to switch back to Big Truck Big RVs classic introduction music! It was really nice!!
Can a family of 5 live in something like this? Durability wise. Or would things start falling apart after a few weeks of use
That is a very nice rig
Those pop outs leak like crazy

beautiful RV!
