Hi, what mouthpiece would you use for this exact tuba? I’m a pro bass trombone player who recently have had to cover alot of tuba jobs in my area. I’m really getting into it. I mostly play an Eb besson(I’m in europe and studied in the UK). I use a 3L Dennis Wick for everything at the moment. I want to learn how to play C tuba and only have access to the YCB621 at the moment, I don’t really like the 3L with it. Any suggestions?
A great place to start if you ask me is just a standard Helleberg mouthpiece. It won't cost you a fortune, but it's also a good jump into the world of premium mouthpieces that are superior to the mouthpieces that generally come with the instrument. Mouthpieces are all about feel and personal preference, but a Helleberg is a great starting point. Thanks for asking!
Glad to see you're back! Congratulations on the kid!
High register and flexibility exercises are big ones I've wanted to see but have never found.
Welcome back and congratulations on the kid!

Have you heard of Mack brass? They make a small c tuba.
Also... multitrack
I would like to see some jazz tuba playing.
Look up Howard Johnson!
What mouthpiece would you recommend for a complete novice tuba player...I normally play trumpet?
