Hi Chandan. First, thank you for the kind words. It makes me feel useful that I can help others. Second, and more importantly, I have been meaning to make an update on this topic. In later versions of ACI (I think in 4.1.2 or later) we removed the need for the whole VLAN-5 business. If you are running recent code, you can do it a much better way. I will try to make a video soon to show this in action.

Good morning Joseph, how long did it take you to become an expert.....what would be the best books/information to start with??

Hi Chris. Well, tbh, I cheated because I actually work for the business unit that develops ACI, so I am using it daily. But in real life, I think with a small bit of reading and playing on an ACI system you could get reasonably proficient fairly quickly (like days or weeks). A few books I like are "Deploying ACI" (Dagenhardt, Moreno,Dufresne, Cisco Press, 2018). This one you have to pay for. The 2nd is "Troubleshooting Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure 2nd Edition" (Dastoli, Ducomble, and many more, Cisco Press 2020). This one you can download for free as a PDF or buy the book. Of course free is always better ;)
I blush that you think I am an expert. I merely work with experts and I stand on their shoulders.
