I am also hoping to reading Bone Shard War this month.
I honestly hadn't heard many people talking about The Ember Blade, but now that it's on my TBR I've heard only good things. I'm really hoping to enjoy The Bone Shard War because I've heard mixed things.

Jane Eyre is a great book, I hope you like it. The Frugal Wizard is adorably cheesy, I actually really liked it.

In May I’m reading Harry Potter, Broken Throne, Six of Crows, Nevernight, Gilded, The Land of Stories: An Authors Odyssey, Realm Breaker, The City of Brass, and The Iron Knight. I’m excited to read all of these books
I have had City of Brass on my TBR for so long! I really enjoyed Six of Crows, I read it on vacation and I just flew through it and Crooked Kingdom. Hope you enjoy your reads this month!
The Last Tale of the Flower Bride was an utter surprise hit for me! I'm excited to read more of Roshani Chokshi's works since, if the book is any indication, I love the way she tells stories.
I have really high hopes for it! I honestly didn't have much interest in it before Angela told me it sounded perfect for me, and now that I've looked more into it, I'm very excited.
I looked at the length of the TBR video and went "Well this can't go well" 😬
Oooh I'm so looking forward to hearing what you think about Jane Eyre. I love it but I know a lot of other people aren't big fans. 👀 My only advice is that you just have to power through the first 10 chapters and then the real story starts. Here's hoping you enjoy your reading experience with it!

I know, the length always gives it away haha. I feel like most classics start really slow, so I'm ok with that. I'm really hoping I enjoy it. I am really wanting to love "Frugal Wizard" but am a little nervous because it's so different than anything else I've read from Sanderson. I'm glad to hear you liked it, though!
@@stephaniesbookverse1098 For 'Frugal Wizard', I found it fun because it felt like Brandon just relaxing and telling a fun story. It was just a fun little genre-bending romp, imo!

I really enjoyed The Last Tale of the Flower Bride. It wasn't at all what I went into it I expecting it to be but it was great. Jane Eyre was my favorite book for ages and ages, I read it when I was.... maybe 15? I plan on reading Slaughterhouse Five this year, keep forgetting it when I choose a next book, maybe you reading it will help remind me to grab it sometime soon.
I'm hearing such good things about Flower Bride, I can't wait to read it. I have such high hopes for Jane Eyre, I honestly think I will love it. And I have no idea what I will think of Slaughterhouse Five, but going into it with an open mind.

Jane Eyre isn't really like Rebecca. They're both gothic, but quite different. Also the romance doesn't happen until quite a decent chunk into the book. Just setting your expectations right so you won't get disappointed if you go in wanting something like Rebecca.
Thanks, I do appreciate it, because sometimes I find that I end up not liking a book because I had the wrong expectations going in.
