Thanks for the tutorial. I followed your directions and made my own for my son's upcoming college graduation. I used a drum stick to wrap the bills. I ended up using $50 in 1's, $200 in 5's, $300 in 10's, $400 in 20's and one $50 bill just to make it even. Wish I could attach a pic. I can't wait until he sees it!

Thank you for the breakdown of the dominations. I was counting half and multiplying by 2, on each layer. I want to add another layer, so since my estimates coincided with yours, helped so much. I can’t wait to do this!

Guests played guessing games as to how much was in cake. Daughter in law guessed correctly - $1,000. Ready for my next project!
I just stood them up around the foam and used decorative ribbon to secure them in place. You can use double sided tape also. I would recommend a light hold tape like scotch tape. Sorry for the late response!
