Extremely similar house and garden as mine. It was a plain white new build. Now it’s all ‘70’s and warm lighting with absolute eclectic madness. I keep it immaculate at all times due to my OCD

Just a little suggestion in your second hallway why don't you put two cabinets on either side instead of the table and use them as display or storage and then or make it into a little lobby area with a comfy chair so people can hang there before entering the kitchen or dining room? At least it would still be a cool little space in its own right? But that's only a suggestion it's fine now too 😉

I agree, trends get really boring, and Ive found that through all the trends and years, there are always things that i keep gravitating towards, like i like earthy tones, natural colors and materials, calm spaces, thats just who I am!
I always cite your home as my own personal as my inspo. I dont necessarily want exactly what you've done (except your kitchen, I would recreate your kitchen to a T) but in how bold you were selections for colors, patters, etc...and the utility room was such a great idea!

Actually so glad you gave your thoughts on Smeg fridge I have blender, toaster, kettle etc But not a fridge yet I did notice they were quite small but good to know it isnt worth my money getting. Love your house

I loved the plant advice! I would also like to add that, if you are getting started with plants, buying already grown expensive plants can be a bad idea because when you are getting started you may kill a lot of plants during the learning process (specially when transplanting) so I think it is wise to invest less money and more time :)

I think it is interesting how small, yet functional kitchens in other countries are. I just here in the US especially in the southern states there was a huge focus on the large kitchens because of culture. Your kitchen has always been something that I admire because of the natural light and the view of the garden. Such a great feature to your home!

I have to renovate a whole house without living in it as the entire place had to have the plaster and wiring and flooring ripped out. In my head I have a vision for how the end goal looks for each room but I find it overwhelming that I live in it and feel like I've done things wrong
