Cute, long, slow-burn romance. 🥰 This one focuses on the couple and their developing relationship without a bunch of side drama or characters to distract, which I love. And anytime something came up that might derail them, they quickly resolved it and moved on. And I liked the twist of this version of the story where she was a flight inspector (rocking her customary crooked ponytail) instead of a controller.
I also liked how the ML had been intrigued by the FL first, though I do wish that he had been a bit more forthcoming about his feelings. I mean come on! Give a girl more of a hint already! They could have totally been making out much earlier in the show if he had! 😉
Now about the dude. This actor plays a VERY attractive ML. (So glad they managed to slip at least a partial chest shot in 🤭) He has calm, cool, suave, dominant and passionate down. And he can even pull off playful and funny. But here we see where he needs some work. He couldn’t quite do scared, earnest, pained and soulful. That scene on the couch with the papers was actually kinda confusing. I couldn’t quite tell if he was being sincere or if he was just pretending to be upset by what was happening, or even what emotion he was supposed to be portraying. I’ve seen other actors do this similar scene, so I think I know what he was going for, but unfortunately, in my opinion, he wasn’t successful. Hopefully, the next one is better for him!
Despite that, I still liked this! And if you like a show light on crazy action, but heavy on a developing relationship, then you might too! (Plus the cute actors really help! 😜)
