8:39 These are called Rotary Rasp File Bits. They are used for de-burring, shaping and grooving. De-burring; as in after you have drilled a hole in metal use these bits to smooth over the edges of the hole and remove burrs.
1:40 You know what else can stop that from happening? The variable torque dial on the drill. Not hating on you Mr. Hacker, I've literally watched every video on your channel. Just hating on the product.
For the first one, to clean up the threaded bar, I used to just screw on a nut past where I was cutting then wind it flush up to the cut, quick file to take off the "stub of thread". Then when you take off the nut it deburrs it
WOW! A few of these I've seen, but most of them are entirely new to me! Thank you SO much for introducing such an incredible assortment of useful tools!
Made for a die grinder those are the wooden burs if you do decide to buy them the the carbide ones they cost a little more but you can use them for metal as well they stay sharp for a long time u port and polish automobile heads with them to make more horse power.

16:27, 23 ~ ⚠️ I had bought this hole-cutter [12inch width] and had an accident with it - I wanted to cut a hole in an acrylic sheet, so me and dad went to the patio and set up the cutter in a mains drill and the work-mate and clamped the sheet in it, and started cutting it, unfortunately the acrylic sheet cracked and made it useless for my intended purpose, and dad wasn’t impressed with the cutter; “does this actually work”? he said, and went to the DIY shed and got a wood micro-particle board and clamped it into the work-mate and started cutting it, as I had not properly tightened the blades to the T-shaft = one flew off and hit a finger on my hand (the finger is slightly swollen from the injury) if I had also bought the transparent bell-guard the accident wouldn’t have happened, the cutting have been a lot more steady/straight. The guard is a safety accessory sold with the cutter/separate, 2 sizes, it will steady the cutter if doing free-hand (unlike in this video), the debris/swalf made will be caught by the guard and in particular, if cutting a hole in a ceiling - you will not be showered with the debris ~ it will be “cleanly” caught in the guard
I've been a carpenter for 40 years. I've seen some of these. I haven't seen some of these. I need about all of these. Thumbs up man.
im not a carpenter or any kind. but i really wanted all of these..
Ü hi
Agreed. I think that problems in the video are the fault of less-than-high-end products, and inexperience is using them.
"in." "in using them."

Not hating on you Mr. Hacker, I've literally watched every video on your channel. Just hating on the product.
Most people don't know there's a clutch on drills. It's very useful for screwing applications.
Very nice job im your subscriber .
For the first one, to clean up the threaded bar, I used to just screw on a nut past where I was cutting then wind it flush up to the cut, quick file to take off the "stub of thread". Then when you take off the nut it deburrs it
Nice one to remember!
Good idea until you’re cutting 3m lengths into 1m rods, you’d spend half the day spinning nuts on
@@WCamden Clamp the rod in a drill, and hold the nut with pliers. No sweat 😅

The burr bits at 8:39 are very usefull, but need to spin rather quickly, otherwise they grab and catch.

Excellent
If you screw the nut on before you cut the bolt the but clears the end threads and you don't need an extra tool.

That auger is a good way to destroy your drills Motor.
On hard wood and prolonged use I agree, but those would be great on small crafts with soft wood like pine or very small projects.
If you tried that in my soil you'd break your wrist.
They look like they'd only be good in good topsoil that's freshly tilled.
Отличное Видео. Like.

Useful video. How can I get some of those tools?
Start with getting a Makita Drill
@@YaMomsOyster I have one of those original that used cord. I'm wondering if all the kits can fit ANY MAKITA DRILL
That first bit is a real good shortcut to cross threading....
I want to know what you call these bits! Then you would be helpful in finding them!
Yea that"s a big fuckin 10 - 04..
They are on the ‘description” part of the video.
what type Makita you use for the entire video......... 🙏🏻
Yoy did not right the name of the very first one that shave of a bit of the burr of the threads after cutting it. How and from where to buy online?
