Is it correct that the Black newer version only can connect to two devices whil the older Bold version can pair up to three devices ? This would be very strange and a very negative thing. Cause after the phone and the gps you can't pair it to the bluetooth earbuds.
I've never had speakers in my helmet before I have just been using ear buds is the sound quality substantially better or should I stick with the earbuds?
It depends on the ear buds, but I find the speakers in the helmet much more comfortable and convenient than having ear buds in my ears. Especially on a long ride. For some perspective, I've recently converted my brother into a Cardo Freecom 1+ from ear buds, and he says it's one of the best things he has done for making his commute more enjoyable. -Tom 🏍️
Hi ! I have the Bold in my 1400 carbon and I am happy with it. I have bought a speaker kit for my Nexx Rx2 but it didn't worked so I have installed it on my Exo Tech and it works again. I am still looking for a device for my Nexx
@@lukt7641 hey, is it the regular bold or the black you’ve got in your exo? I just got the helmet as well and would love to have 45mm speakers, but someone told me the precut holes are 40mm in this helmet…
They will go in, but it is a tight fit! The 45mm can be uncomfortable after a period of time as they are chunkier speaker causing some pressure spots. The Packtalk Bold/Slim with the 40mm speakers slot in neatly and is the choice for our staff members who wear X-Spirit 3s. - Tom
@@MW_1981 Try fitting just the speakers first, don't use any of the sticky pads. See how that feels before getting the rest fitted and you'll be able to gauge the comfort first. -Tom
Hi JMan, yes you can! You have to go into the app settings and ensure "Bluetooth Audio Mixing" is enabled. This will automatically alter the volumes so you can hear each other over the music. - Tom
Hi Orhan, sorry I missed your comment there. It will fit ok but if your ears are on the large side it may feel uncomfortable. The speakers are quite big in the EX Zero! Otherwise the Packtalk Bold or Slim will do the job just as well -Tom
