Not all rappers are Mos Def and Jay Z with thorough watch knowledge. Most rappers including Rick Ross get took by crooks in jewelry stores for wanting to belong to a deep rooted watch culture/community without doing the work. Watch fans like Nico will call that out.
I’m a bit late to the party this week, but another great episode 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. I think the conversation with rappers and their buss down watches is always an interesting one, bling is part of the hip hop culture and identity. While some people may frown at it for obvious reasons, it certainly has a place. Also considering the heart and soul of the watch is the movement, if a watch is drilled to put stones in it, is that any different from replacing the strap with a 3rd party strap 🤔🤔
Do the Formex Worn and Wound dials look better than the default dials in person? I'd love to see them in person but not sure what they look like so I'm holding back on a purchase
It’s really a matter of personal taste. I’ll say I personally enjoy this dial layout the best, it gives the watches a little vintage flair that make the model more interesting. They have a pretty solid return policy, I’d say it’s worth a shot.
I know that yall trying to be nice to Ross but knowing him he bought that Watch knowing full well that it wasn’t a Factory Diamond set AP and tried to pass it off as one not knowing that there are people like Nico who know what they Know. We are never gonna see Ross rocking that Watch ever again
