I came into this album expecting just some radio friendly hits, and although I can see most of these going on the radio, at least the songs feel like they experimented with sounds in an actually interesting and entertaining way. It was a pleasant listen that was honestly refreshing, especially after the hell storm that was Mercury parts 1 & 2.

I noticed you enjoy pretty heavy stuff, here's two heavy as hell albums I just love and are ridiculously catchy despite the carnage: Antithesis by Origin and Obscene Majesty by Devourment. you actually enjoyed this album slightly more than i did, which is weird considering i used to be a huge fan of this band (my interest in their music isn’t fully gone though, there’s still good moments)

10:18 - ok so I just heard wake up for the first time and I thought “wow this sucks” but then I watched your reaction and it was just so positive and open that it made me fully reconsider the song. I still think the productions iffy and some of the lyrics are dumb, but as a whole it kinda bangs, especially as an opener. Great video!

I came into this album expecting just some radio friendly hits, and although I can see most of these going on the radio, at least the songs feel like they experimented with sounds in an actually interesting and entertaining way. It was a pleasant listen that was honestly refreshing, especially after the hell storm that was Mercury parts 1 & 2.
if you ever doubt your own adequacy, remember that this person gave this album twice the rating than Clancy
