I will definately be making the topiary for my makeup vanity. I already have some red roses saved from a wreath that broke apart.
I will also be making the mirrored box for a friend. She gets married in April. I have already been making her crocheted calla lilies from doily thread. She can use this as her centerpiece for her reception & have it as a memory of the big day. Since she will be throwing her bouquet that I am making also.
She is doing an almost all DIY wedding. Since this is her & her beau 2nd wedding each.

there was an old saying: "pink and green shouldn't be seen" ... but i think items with a predominately off white and pale dusty green (aqua), with a few pale baby pink accents would make an interesting and pretty bouquet craft item. what do you think? :-)
nowvoyagerNE I do like learning about what used to be! I've never heard that saying before. Thank you! I do like twisting or blending things mostly just for fun but it's also a nice way to encourage people who don't enjoy specific colors to still enjoy decorating for whatever holiday.
