    Suzanne you are a KNITTING TREASURE to me. I had knitted a sleeve and realized half way through that the stitches were funny. As I dxidn't know HOW to correct my mistakes, I ripped the entire project and wound up the yarn. Disgusted discouraged and never touched this yarn. You are blest with talent and love to share. I must find this pattern and consider re-knitting my 7 year old grandkids sweater. Thanks for all your encouragement. Thanks for sharing and caring. Hugs from your "addicted" fan in France. HAPPY HOLIDAYS. Have a stunning exciting cracking 2019. Another 36 hours to go.

    I am testing stitch patterns and I occasionally miss a twist. If I can’t even get it right on a swatch I was beginning to wonder if I could chance the all over Japanese stitch pattern on a top. Now I can easily drop down and fix. So I’ll forge on with plans for the new project. Thank you!

    Hi Suzanne! I have a question for you regarding twisted rib - I tend to get big gaps between vertical purl bars when I knit twisted rib, and it has the effect of making my ribbing looking see through. It happens regardless of the yarn or needle size, so I’m assuming it must be a technique/tension issue. Do you know why that might be happening and how I can fix it? (I knit English style)

    • @SuzanneBryan
      @SuzanneBryan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Try this technique, even though you are working tbl, it will help. - th-cam.com/video/ravgF2nmc5I/w-d-xo.html

    How do I tink back to fix a twisted ptbl stitch? Thank you!

    • @SuzanneBryan
      @SuzanneBryan  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      What a great question, When you purl through the back loop, you are bringing your right needle from the left to the right through the stitch. So to tink, take it back the way it came. From the front to the back.

    • @kimmiemamatomany6226
      @kimmiemamatomany6226 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Any chance you could do a short video how-to? There seems to be no visual for this. Feel like I should rip back, as I think somehow dropping down a bunch of rows to fix a column of ptbl stitches that are not made correctly would screw up my twisted rib waistband on my sweater.

    I hope you could help a fellow subscriber regarding TWISTED ladder stitches, in circular needles?! I have found an area in my knitting where there is uneven tension, when laddering down I’ve come across a ladder that is crossed and does not meet evenly on the other side of the ladder. ( either one above or below the actual ladder) None of the videos I’ve watched seem to address this particular issue, yet this happens to me several times a year and it is beyond frustrating! Please, any offer of a suggestion would be greatly appreciated! ClaudiaSJI

    • @SuzanneBryan
      @SuzanneBryan  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are there any yarn overs in your design that you have dropped down? If so, they will present as crossed sometimes. Let me know. Also, if you are in my FaceBook group - Knitting with Suzanne Bryan, you can post a picture or direct message me with a picture and I can be of more help to you.
