Oh, did I mention Abbot's refusal to link the Texas state electric grid to the national system? It is in a central location you can drive West to Fredericksburg, Boerne, Bandera, Medina or North to Marble Falls, Johnson City…. Northeast to Austin! Houston is just 200 miles west of San Antonio! Air Force Bases provides employment..and Medical Research Centers are very good! I truly love the advanced medical professionals , training and education here! I have great confidence in the University Health System, the University Dental School. The truth is, there are some subcultures and economically deprived groups. Fortunately, the good City Mayor and staff are working hard to make it better for them! This city will attract more professional young people and business entrepreneurs! There are so many good things: the RiverWalk, with its new extensions, UTSA, La Cantera, The Rim, The Alamo….. Hope we can work hard to keep up the good work and make San Antonio the most livable city for the rich and the poor!

"REMINDER", we have a CRISIS RIGHT NOW WITH FLOOD OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS (2024 Thanks to OBIDEN Administration). Therefore I would say "NO" to El Paso, TX, McAllen, TX, San Antonio, TX too close to the border. Houston is one of the "WORST for CRIMES" in the state of Texas. Austin is still a beautiful city with all the green trees & Lakes, but it's NOW too crowded. 😥 But Corpus Christi, Rockport, are very nice areas on the Texas Gulf Coast, Beach areas. Some Central Texas areas are decent like Temple, Texas. Goodluck.
What a lie this video is…I live in Beaumont, born there, and in the surrounding “Golden Triangle”( Beaumont,Port Arthur, Orange) and I guarantee you there are no hills and almost mountainous looking areas any where near Beaumont? It’s as flat as a pancake, so wow, this video of places with search landscaping and all the fun and exciting things to do really! You haven’t been to Beaumont in the last 30 years have you, this video is extremely deceiving with the pictures for sure!
I live in a small but growing community just north of Houston. New Caney seems to be the place a lot if people from Houston are moving to. It's about 25 miles away on Hwy 59/69. If you want more details, you can ask me.
Texas has such a great quality of life that it is hard to find a disappointing place to live. With the possible exception of Beaumont, I generally agree with you. Brownsville and McAllen are way south in the Rio Grande Valley and if you're going there, spend some time exploring the towns in between as well, realizing that this is one of the least expensive places to live in the entire country. Mexico is a short walk with inexpensive, quality health care. For the Budget conscious, I would also suggest north Texas like Witchita Falls or Abileen. El Paso is the last of the remaining wild west cities and at one time had a super high crime rate but now has one of the lowest. Los Cruses, NM is on the opposite side of the state border offering a quality lifestyle just outside of Texas. You fail to mention the Texas hill country although Austin and San Antonio are gateways to it. There are many small, charming towns there like few others anywhere. If you can afford Austin, go for it!
They should have listed Georgetown, Fredericksburg, Leander, Cedar Park, Spicewood, Marble Falls, and Dripping Springs. Austin and Houston have a lot of crime. Housing is getting expensive in Texas. Property taxes are high. Please do research when providing information about cities in Texas.
As someone who has lived in Texas along time, I am disappointed by your choice of best cities and the reasons thereof. It would also help if you spoke reasonable English and pronounced common English words as most of the United States does. I gradually grew to believe that your videos were backed by commercial interests. How you compare Houston and Austin and Even Dallas- Fort Worth in the same analysis is breath is. Killeen is mispronounced. What about Tyler, Waco, and Sherman. Austin's cost of living is outrageous.
What a load of crap. The housing prices in this video are off by about 50%. I want to see anyone buy a house in Dallas for under $600K, $900K is closer to reality. Same for Austin.
Some of your recommendations are OK but recommending Austin or Houston as an affordable decent place to live is off the chart stupidity. Austin is outrageously expensive and has unbearable. Traffic and Houston is a crime blank blank hole. Live there at your own risk.
Houston has 6 universities 2 law universities 7 medical universities, u of H, Rice University, TSU, Methodist, SMU, u of Texas branch, Baylor medical University branch, St. THOMAS. LOTS OF COLLEGES. SUGARLAND CITY IS OF HIGH INCOME CITY EXPANDING

Turned it off when it showed their photo of Beaumont. There are no mountains or even foothills near Beaumont. Immediately lost any credibility.
You already named out the ENTIRE State of Texas itself ❤ Thanks🤝
Love it
I wouldn't live in any of these places especially Austin or Houston. I was born and raised in Texas and these suggestions are not my choices.
I've been in Austin Texas since 1981. Thanks for letting everyone know where to go to ruin it.🤠
No welcome!
KEEP AUSTIN WEIRD...!!
Rio Grande City, Texas is the cosiest place forever. Many townships and Hwy 83 connect you to all of them. Queit and warm neighbor to old Mexico.
Mountains in Beaumont?
WELL SIR, I'M A NATIVE TEXAN & I LIVE IN TEXAS NOW. I WOULD NEVER live in any BORDER TOWN/CITY BY THE BORDER OF MEXICO. Goodluck.
Don’t recall seeing mountains near Beaumont ::;;;…
I am an native Texan and have lived here 78 years. And I am sorry that I wasted my time watching 😭 this.
Deep East Texas.... not mentioned, thank God. It is so peaceful
Thank God!
New Braunfels - rivers, restaurants, great people!
Yes very nice area! It has become very popular and many people have moved there and it has lost the charm of small town. 😢
I liked it and very informative and just moved to Houston and thinking in a different place to live.
I live in a small but growing community just north of Houston. New Caney seems to be the place a lot if people from Houston are moving to. It's about 25 miles away on Hwy 59/69. If you want more details, you can ask me.
TX , CHEAP 2 LIVE!WE HAVE EVERYTHING,OR WE CAN GET IT!NATIV,BEEN HERE 50 YEARS
DALLAS FORT WORTH DFW
NOW BIGGER THAN HOUSTON
Best weather El Paso low crime work is challenging
Ruidoso drive 2 hours fishing lakes NM two hours
Houston!?! They have never.
Perfect ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Thank for watching my video !!
Why Dallas proper has not been included in your list of best cities Dallas is a beautiful city and bclean and healthy
Beautiful cities and towns are everywhere!
Especially in Texas!
I'm a Texan. You missed the bus. Sorry.
GOOD WAY OF STATING IT, PINE4205
Same. Hell Paso?
You won't pay me enough to live in #7,8,9,n10 cities.
The most flawed list of best places to live in Texas ever!
Do better research.
Better yet remove the video.
San Antonia is where I moved
Thanks for sharing your opinion!
@@discoverglobeliving we need to move to states that represent the constitution...there are very few left
Texas is like out last hope...
San Antonio and Austin..I think.its one of the best Cities in Texas
SO FAR NON AT ALL! Lived in Houston 🎱
Those photos are NOT Beaumont. Looks more like El Paso :-(
Bring a boat if U pick Houston
FLOODING is in GALVESTONE because its near river and lake
Where is the river and lake in Galveston? Galveston is an island LoL
Note: That is NOT Beaumont. There are no mountains. 😄
Why cost of living less in chorpos Christi is it because of hurrican
This video sounds like a travel agency made it.
Some of your recommendations are OK but recommending Austin or Houston as an affordable decent place to live is off the chart stupidity. Austin is outrageously expensive and has unbearable. Traffic and Houston is a crime blank blank hole. Live there at your own risk.
Beaumont does NOT have mountains!
I live in Austin Texas! Love it!
The weather is way too hot & humid. May have 6 weeks of pleasant days.
FLASH: TEXAS NOW HAS A/C AND THERE ARE LITERALLY THOUSANDS OF SWIMMING POOLS. AND BY-GOLLY, THE GULF OF MEXICO BORDERS TEXAS FOR A THOUSAND MILES.
The operators need to improve the computer-generated voice pronunciations, etc.
We are trying to improve day by day and hope you can sympathize and forgive it!

Brownsville is isolated and next to nothing.
Thanks for sharing your perspective!
OBVIOUSLY, YOU DON'T KNOW BROWNSVILLE. ACROSS RIO GRANDE FROM MEXICO AND A FEW MILES FROM THE GULF OF MEXICO. ELON MUSK HAS LITTLE SPACE INVESTMENT THERE. AND THAT AIN'T ALL, DEB!!
@@buckbuckner3505 desolate. next to miles and miles of the King Ranch.
Near Padre Island.
The images you show for Beaumont are at least 900 miles WEST OF BEAUMONT. ery poor research
Who knew you could get such good deals on land in America in 2024?
I appreciate your comment! It's always interesting to explore new opportunities.
If your going to live in el paso, you better keep driving east or west because you are far from everything
First. The weather in Texas is not great. We have no seasons. It’s either Hot or Cold. Temperature of 101 to 115. Then 32 to 21.
No fall or spring. Ft.Worth is cow country and you can tell. Dallas rent starts at $ 1,500.00 and up. Transportation is bad. You must have a car in Texas. House start at $350,000.00.
You should have looked at Lubbock. There a number of errors in this
time to upgrade the English AI logic.
DONT MOVE HERE ITS NOTHING LIKE THIS
The taxes are more than in New Mexico
Garden Ridge is a great place to live, in the county of Comal close to New Braunfels...
Yes, Texas can be very hot but it's not very uncomfortable unless you have to be working outside..
Beaumont is not surrounded by mountains!
This AI is not very good at speech
