Ravi is very caring and helpful when it comes to all the members, but especially Leo. I think it's because he is so caring towards his younger sister that that mentally just carries over :)

But i think that the MCs were being very generous this time for his appearance even though they seemed a bit rude at the beginning. He spoke little and had a lot of attention. They tried really hard not to make him feel left out and i think that was really nice. and also they always complimented him for his efforts.

They're normally very teasing and sometimes come off as mean to the idols that come on to the show, and with Leo, who is notoriously shy and quiet, it could have very easily gone a completely different direction. They could have decided he wasn't worth the effort of trying to get him to participate and ignored him (since he is unlikely to ever volunteer himself to do something in front of cameras that isn't singing), or tried to tease and mess with him like they did with N and had him go hide behind N or one of the other members. Instead they genuinely worked with him and complimented him and didn't keep him in the spotlight for long periods of time but also got him to participate in silly things, which from watching some shows VIXX does is borderline impossible without N standing right there almost pushing him to do it. It was probably the best way to work with Leo on a show like Weekly Idol. Compliments to DoniConi for their efforts! They didn't have to. Most Idols are more than willing to make fools of themselves on camera (Ken, I'm looking at you here). That they made special efforts to keep Leo involved with the show is a big plus to them.
I know, sorry. I was sort of generally responding to previous comments on this thread too. I think the source for that article was from one of the Weekly Idol writers who criticized Leo for what she perceived was stoic-ism and not acting "Idol" enough. She got a lot of backlash for it too and ended up shutting down her twitter account and leaving the Weekly Idol show.
Ah precious Leo, I love that he's always been like that. I think it throws people off a bit because they expect idols to be all out there and crazy and things of that sort, but Leo isn't like that and I love Jellyfish Ent. for not trying to make him change. I also appreciate the Dony and Coni seem to try and accommodate to his personality. I think people who come on too strong towards Leo causes him to panic a little or at least surprises him a lot. Nonetheless, I really like Leo and I'm glad a personality like his is in the kpop industry~
I must say, I really love how they treat Leo in this episode of Weekly Idol. Being someone who is like that myself, I think they really handled it perfect. On one of the MTV Diary shows, Leo left early to get the dorm ready for N's birthday and when the guys come in, they just see Leo standing in the dark holding a cake in the middle of the room. N's reaction was like wtf, that's so creepy Leo lol.
+M Sat Bah, my touch pad went crazy! So yeah, i've been watching the Plan V and some other ones you're right they are really funny! Leo is just the greatest. I am kinda shy like that but I also have a bad temper so when I see them picking on him i'm like "You're gonna get hit" but he never does, even when he does attack he's gentle lol. I can really see Leo just standing, there in the dark, with a birthday cake lol. Pure awesomeness!
