    Possibly one of my favorite Garyvee keynotes. Business is people; always comes down to humanity. There's nothing better than following a leader who cares about his/her people both in word and in action.

    Thumbs up for the dyslexic in the crowd! #muchlove for GaryVee. I have tried to hide my dyslexia until I found you about 2 years ago. Now I use it as a positive not a negative. Thank you so much for all that you do.

    One of the BIGGEST issues confronting the military is job satisfaction and standard of life. We definitely get the importance of discipline and that the culture isn't exactly family friendly but a huge issue is mistrust of leadership. The family first campaign is a great idea but there are organizational issues effecting a proper implementation. I wonder how may Vets actually left the service because of job dissatisfaction and family prioritization. Leadership could take a note from corporate America that supports HR like Vayner media (says they do, don't know for sure).

    I can remember being at a human resources meeting for a company that begins with an A and ends with an N. They thought that retaining software for engineers for only 2 years was "OK"... I was horrified, since it often takes that long for a software person to even understand the user needs at a level of high fluency.

  • @ahwong7162
    @ahwong7162 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Gary, after I have read the comments on GlassDoor I am interested in finding out how do you or your employees ultimately find a balance between work and life?
    For example if you understand a person (maybe too close) on social media, does that mean there's no work and life balance / differences any more? as there may be a point for others in the company to start judging on others (potentially not performing as expected) who are enjoying themselves out of work time (work-life balance)
    Would love to hear back from you Gary!

    My question to VaynerNation - especially to people who struggled the same problem i do.
    This topic has been brought up very often in the past. But i still cant find my thing.......
    So question to people who had exactly this challenge but did it and found what they enjoy doing
    How did you do that???
    I know, there will be a lot of others - very GENERAL advices like: trying new things, childhood, doing sth all the time, strengths etc - but it does not work!
    What did you start doing when hadnt have any intrest,passion,anchor???
    I will be incredibly thankful for all your PRACTICAL advices

    • @Askar355
      @Askar355 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ryan, thank you for your answer - but unfortunately its too general - my answer to this questions: I dont know :(

    • @avihayl7911
      @avihayl7911 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      1. One thing u can do is: address a problem in ur life and find a way to solve it.
      sometimes the tool u used to solve this problem can help u figure out a motive/passion.
      2. From my personal experience try new things even if it's for a superficial purposes bcz as u evolve u set new goals and discover more about ur self and what drives u.
      3. example from my life: I started training bcz my friends went to the gym so I wanted to hang out with them as well.
      Only after a year of training in a poor way(no guidance) I started to realize why I train and that the process of training is my motivation.
      by saying "process" I mean the pain, sweat, adrenaline, changing my whole lifestyle to achieve goals.
      I also have this fascination to check, how long can I push it? when will I reach a wall? and if so, can I break this wall?
      4.Last thing, STICK TO THE PLAN, If u don't give ur self enough time and quit at the start of ur journey u probably wont find a true passion.
      Hope I helped u and I wish u will find ur true passion very soon (sorry for the bad grammar, English isn't my first lang)

    • @Askar355

      Thx for your answer. I'm pondering right know to start an internship - know it doesnt seem to be "super cool thing" - but probably most intresting thing i found and i guess it's good decision to start sth, because - tbh i've been pondering my thing for over 2 years - everyday :(

The rating for Vayner was already bad, it almost sounds like you're using that as an excuse for the poor current rating.
