Wesh Monique i'm sorry but you are so wrong. Tracksuits have been popular and worn by everyone for many many years brands like Lacoste, Sergio Tachini are famous because of their tracksuits majorly worn in France. To say that we French have stolen the tracksuit fashion by the London boys is just pure calomnie ( désolé je sais pas l'écrire en anglais mdr ).

I can also see a little bit of London vibe in this clip. But tbf in France, all the youth wore tracksuit ( Nike, Adidas, Lacoste, Tacchini...) since the 80s.
We also like to wear mixed football suit ( not unform).
So we didn't really steal London's style. It's more of an inspiration in this clip.
But we can also say that a lot of UK rappers steal the Parisians style...wearing football tracksuits wasn't a thing in UK before MHD and the others french rapper became big in Europe...or naming a song by the name of a footballer too.
As someone from the UK I dont believe that either copied each other. There are many similarities between places like London and Paris particularly the urban areas. People from London always quick to say that other places have copied them 🙄 that's stupid in my opinion

"MD" means Manu Dibango. He was a cameroonian singer who passed away not long ago.
He was famous because Michael Jackson ( and Rihanna) sampled one of Dibango's song (Soul Makossa) in the track "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin" from Thriller.
He didn’t “get famous” because an American stole -yes I mean stole because he was not paid for it- one of his songs. He was already known to many and was international.
Nah I have to check you for this foolish and downright insulting comment. I won’t let you insult and trivialize Manu Dibango’s legacy. He did not and I repeat he did not gain fame, because some American artists sampled his songs. He was and will always be an internationally renowned and acclaimed Makossa legend. Watch your mouth when speaking on the king’s legacy!

Listen guys...... You've been doing music reactions for many years, so it's disappointing every time you keep saying "I didn't understand it". What, then, are the high scores based on if you didn't understand the song? Is the score based on familiarity to your music at home?
Since you already know what you will be reacting to next, how about doing a little research on the context of the song beforehand.
I liked the reactions where someone gave a summary about the video before watching - an example is how you did Tiwa Savage 49-99. It gives the song a fare chance to be judged.
After listening to all that music over the years, somehow I expected that you would have gained "skills" on how to react to a song. But your scores are always skewed, and you've missed out on a lot of good music because of this.
