It takes such a huge amount of time to come to terms with the loss of one's mother. My mom passed years ago now and I still get caught off guard when the feeling hits me. I'm sorry that you've lost your mother. It's a rotten shitty thing we all end up going through.
I think the moments that hit hardest for me are when I really want to talk to my mom about something and that's just not an option. Or big milestones I'd like to share.
