Trail: ITV Summer Season
Ah the good old days when adverts made you more likely to buy something rather than less likely as they do now
I do believe that's Leslie Grantham (aka Dirty Den) in the Blackthorn Cider advert at 7:14 - four years before he appeared BEHIND the bar in EastEnders.
I believe you're right
Thanks for the thumps up, I like guessing the face in an advert from 70s and 80s, another tv face who advertised Immac, Banjo bars, Dairy Crunch is Mandy Perryment. Left UK to live in USA years ago.
@@davidstewart2996 Yes, it's always nice to spot a familiar face in adverts, especially when it's before they actually become famous.
@@screenclips9105 Unfortunately her Immac advert as a dancer was removed from here last year, track used was Swamp Dog by Mcdonald and Rae.
@@davidstewart2996 It's always annoying when a video gets removed or blocked. But apparently Mandy Perryment appeared in a record amount of adverts, so chances are there are plenty more ads with her in them somewhere!
First few ads after the breakdown didn't have the white squares optic... wonder if that was because the commercials playout staff were caught off guard somehow?
£10 to £15K for a Fiesta Supersport now apparently.

Looks like the film was being transmitted straight from TK. Did it break?
Sounds about right, might have split at a weak splice point. It was 1981 so the likelihood of it coming in from TK is very high.
@@geniusburgerwhat’s TK
@@MarkBrydondrums85 Telecine, where it’s played from film.
@@geniusburger oh right thank you for answering/
