I think seek infects all of the queen giggles to get rid of the species because of what he stated “the queen grumbles keep the species alive”. It makes sense for the queen to be bigger and screeches to be bigger than the giggles. We also see seek infecting the final queen grumble at the end of floor 2. I also think both types of giggles gain two tentacles even if it’s a queen or not. P.S: Please consider this theory in another video and thanks for making these videos!

Its crazy to think about how big the mines really can be. There's doors and paths that have been blocked off by barriers or destruction, which keeps us on the main path. Now if none of them were closed off, Doors would practically be open world. Ig this goes for the hotel as well
i think the uninfected screech stage could be something like "laughter" where they start laughing a bit more aggressively than when they're a giggle, but then at that point seek infects them, turning them into a screech. this could be the reason why screech is a bit louder than giggles, but not as loud as a grumble. and also why they have 6 tentacles instead of 4. but i hope they have more than just 3 stages of growth, and the one between giggle & laughter could be chuckle or something.
i think that giggles are turned into screeches at a slightly older age because seek probably gets knowlege about the nest from the giggle's mind as it knows more about the nest so seek can ambush the grumbles at places they wont expect
What if, when they are born they leave the nest. Then when they grow older they return to the nest. This is why there are Grumbles in the nest. And what if, the "dead Screeches" aren't acctually dead? I mean if a Screech died then you would think the sludge would return to Seek right? I believe that the piles of Screeches are actually teenage Giggle's in the process of becoming Screeches. It would make sense if Seek was recently at the nest considering he appears at door 140. My guess is that the Grumbles where too difficult to possess at the time for Seek. However he could get the half-grown ones, which is why all Screeches look half-grown. So my guess is that before the events of the hotel, Seek invaded the nest and corrupted the teenage Giggles. This is how we see them in floor 1, as they can seemingly teleport. He then went to door 140 and slept in the pipe until the player got there. And I know that Seek is in floor 1, but considering he is just a pile of goop he could probably be at multiple places at once.

Male Grumbles , feed themselves and kill off screeches then die.

I'm gonna formulate a theory on Grumbles starting with the Princess Giggle: The theory at first was that the Princess simply left the mines to mate and establish a new colony. This theory suggests that the Princess has already been produced and that there are more nests than what we see. However I feel like the biology of the Grumble species is different. A variant of this theory is that the Grumbles reproduce through cloning(which there are species of ants that do this). This prevents genetic diversity of the Grumble which can be the reason why they haven't developed immunity against Seek. Ok now we can move on. This theory also assumes that the Nest we see is at the end of it's lifespan. This is different from ants in which the mother colony still continues even after producing 'heirs' but this makes sense since Grumbles are big and consume a lot of energy making the progression from nest to nest slow and streamlined. It is possible that the Grumble was an apex predator and had a good food source. Now I'm explaining the dynamics of the Grumble and it's prey(hypothetical new entity?). We'll start where the Queen Grumble starts forming it's nest. I assume that the other Grumbles are siblings to the Queen and help in digging tunnels. The time where the normal Giggles are produced would be early on. At the start of the colony there are numerous Grumbles however that means that it's prey's population will dwindle. Due to lack of food and caves being caves(caving accidents), most of the Grumbles will die. Here's Seek's plan: Since Seek is an anomalous sentient black goop with eyes that has overlordship over the hotel and the mines, it has the ability to absorb and assimilate anything into itself. I believe it will provide food to the Princess Giggle and her future colony, hence giving rise to millions more Giggles some of which will become Screeches and some will create a new colony for the cycle to repeat. Hence and infinite army of screech against the player thought the motives of Seek aren't clear beyond this point. As for why Seek infected the Queen Grumble it's likely because Seek want to utilise the cloning ability of the Queen as a sort of Plan B to get even more Screeches. Especially when it was just defeated by the player. That's it. Of course more details will be revealed in following updates to the game so this theory is going to change(sooner or later?). I'm open to feedback and I'll answer questions when I have the time to.
I think the teenager/young adult giggles/grumbles would be in the castle probably using there tentacles as spikes under carpets and you can hear there laughter muffled under carpets and they will be like snare but theyll not only spawn in door 90-98

If Seek can Infect a Uninfected Screech into a Screech then what about a grumble? What if Seek infects the grumbles and make them apart of his own army much how like Seek did with Screech. Pretty interesting.
2:30 Wrong, if you use some weird thing I forgot what it was, you could encounter a screech without any ink, I remember it was encounterable with the lowest graphics, correct me in the reply’s if I’m wrong, but you could see a bald screech at some point, sometimes for a second/split second. And these are due to delayed loading and it means it sometimes takes a little bit to load the ink, so just add the other eyes onto bald screech and that’s it.
I would like to stare a few mini theories on the grumble family Number 1: as we all know giggles and grumbles are sensitive to certain light sources due to having many eyes and possibly having very light sensitive eyes built to see in the dark so the can burrow and dig. (Ironic that grumbles and figure are exact opposites) giggles may grow more eyes in order to adapt this ability more, along with bigger and more tentacles, but as babies are born with less parts, however are smart enough to use this to their advantage and latch on to small objects and beings. Possibly having even more sensitive eyes due to size and build made for hiding in darker spots. Just a cool idea not important Number 2: another fact is that grumbles and giggles usually can’t contain the sounds they make. Possibly to scare away certain entities. However this poses as an obstacle when trying to be sneaky but are slowly adapting to be more quiet hence queen grumbles silent attacks. Also screech adapts this inability to stay quiet as well, which is why it can’t stay quiet for more than a few seconds, but screech has modified it to make a quieter sound only once, and sneak up on enemies. They should name infected Grumbles Screams and at some point in the gameplay of floor 3 a Scream could make a loud Scream and then you could have (like 5-10 secs) to hide somewhere and once the time passes the Scream digs through the side of a wall and then digs a giant hole downwards and leaves the screen. If you go to where the hole in the side of the wall it could lead to a loot room or another room. If the idea was implemented the Scream appearances would be random just for some loot or a room to find a key to open a door. (The hole downwards would just be inaccessible.)

Hence and infinite army of screech against the player thought the motives of Seek aren't clear beyond this point. As for why Seek infected the Queen Grumble it's likely because Seek want to utilise the cloning ability of the Queen as a sort of Plan B to get even more Screeches. Especially when it was just defeated by the player.
That's it. Of course more details will be revealed in following updates to the game so this theory is going to change(sooner or later?).

I think the teenager/young adult giggles/grumbles would be in the castle probably using there tentacles as spikes under carpets and you can hear there laughter muffled under carpets and they will be like snare but theyll not only spawn in door 90-98
so when theyre kids, they live in the mines and ambush people from above
when they’re teens, they move out of the mines, have sharp tentacles, and ambush from below
when theyre adults, they move into the nest, lose their sharpness, and instead patrol to protect the queen? Got it

Yeah, but after the unaffected screech, they turn into mini grumbles and the mini grumbles will become bigger and bigger and bigger until they turn into adult
My theory is that giggle is based on a lie and the bigger the results of that lie are, the bigger the giggle gets, which might become a grumble

The thing that does not make is that Screech can fly if you pay close attention, and a Giggle can't, like how is Screech able to fly??? I think the developers need to add more sense to the entities, because Screech being able to fly is weird.
My theory is that giggles eats grass in the nest we see a lot of grass and sinkholes stuff like that and this is how they grow

We still don't have an elder stage.

For those who don’t know Drone Bees (male bees) are kicked out of the hive during winter because the queen wants to savour all they got and doesn’t want to waste it by feeding the drones, so they’re kicked out. What if a similar thing happens with the grumbles

If Seek can Infect a Uninfected Screech into a Screech then what about a grumble? What if Seek infects the grumbles and make them apart of his own army much how like Seek did with Screech. Pretty interesting.
Seek has been shown to infect the queen grumble in the floor 2 ending cutscene, so its likely we will have to fight an infected grumble in floor 3

2:30 Wrong, if you use some weird thing I forgot what it was, you could encounter a screech without any ink, I remember it was encounterable with the lowest graphics, correct me in the reply’s if I’m wrong, but you could see a bald screech at some point, sometimes for a second/split second. And these are due to delayed loading and it means it sometimes takes a little bit to load the ink, so just add the other eyes onto bald screech and that’s it.
I would like to stare a few mini theories on the grumble family
Number 1: as we all know giggles and grumbles are sensitive to certain light sources due to having many eyes and possibly having very light sensitive eyes built to see in the dark so the can burrow and dig. (Ironic that grumbles and figure are exact opposites) giggles may grow more eyes in order to adapt this ability more, along with bigger and more tentacles, but as babies are born with less parts, however are smart enough to use this to their advantage and latch on to small objects and beings. Possibly having even more sensitive eyes due to size and build made for hiding in darker spots. Just a cool idea not important
Number 2: another fact is that grumbles and giggles usually can’t contain the sounds they make. Possibly to scare away certain entities. However this poses as an obstacle when trying to be sneaky but are slowly adapting to be more quiet hence queen grumbles silent attacks.
Also screech adapts this inability to stay quiet as well, which is why it can’t stay quiet for more than a few seconds, but screech has modified it to make a quieter sound only once, and sneak up on enemies. NINJA GIGGLE

pretty sure the queen's grumble ability to stay quiet is very special, as only the queen can do it. so i assume it's something they're born with.

Didn’t really think about it much but I guess if the queen is the only one who can do that, and she birthed the rest yet they can’t adapt the ability then that would mean it’s a skill most likely inherited by female giggles, or princesses I guess that would make them.
So the stages of there lifes are:
1 - giggle
2 - Queen giggle
3 - grumble
4 - Queen grumble
or they will turn into a screech
a queen giggle is at the same growth stage as normal giggles, but with a few extra advantages. the queen isn't a growth stage.

Life cycle of screech? My theory is giggle, infected giggle, screech, scream, and them scrumble (scream is normal grumbles that were infected and scrumble is infected queen)
I think when the uninfected screech becomes teen it becomes a small grumble propaly the half size and it has 6 tentecales like screech.

and i forgot to say i think an giggle egg uses 1 year to get out of the egg and becomes the half size of a giggle and stays in the nest for 2 years and becomes the giggle we know today

An uninfected giggles is basically bald svreech
Grumbles are the teen version of giggle queen is the adult and mom
They should name infected Grumbles Screams and at some point in the gameplay of floor 3 a Scream could make a loud Scream and then you could have (like 5-10 secs) to hide somewhere and once the time passes the Scream digs through the side of a wall and then digs a giant hole downwards and leaves the screen. If you go to where the hole in the side of the wall it could lead to a loot room or another room. If the idea was implemented the Scream appearances would be random just for some loot or a room to find a key to open a door. (The hole downwards would just be inaccessible.)
screech exists. and screech is a synonym of scream, so i think the name needs to be a bit more unique.
