What's funny is that I used to not know there was a Big Crunch Theory, and so when I decided to study physics I started working on a theory of the possibility the the universe imploding back into a point of singularity. Then I found out about Big Crunch Theory and was like, "DAMNIT!!!"
2 is wrong and a commonly believed myth. I googled and the first article that came up was from iflscience and they explained it well. The writer even summed it up in such a great way that I'll quote it. "In sum- you’d swell up, burn, mutate, pass out and your lungs might explode. Lovely. But don’t worry, if you’re ever in this sticky situation, you’ve probably got a solid minute or two to be rescued before you die, so chin up." So...yeah...space is still shitty to be in.
KiriUzu Yes, 2 is a myth. But, it doesn't stop one from dying instantly due to depressurization. It's good that its a myth, don't want to see people exploding into the vastness, worse than horror movies.
In Battlestar Galactica, at one point a shuttle blew up a wall so that the people behind (who took cover) may jump in. inside of a rapidly fading air cocoon, the two characters made it safe aboard the shuttle which closed off just in time.
@polythebhola yes, that is the "swell up" part. It'd kill you *very* fast, of course; not impossible to be rescued, but don't really count on it xD The thing is, it is a myth that the human body would instantly explode in space. It'd take a while for you to even die, and the "exploding" part will never come. The elasticity of human skin and the myriad of escape routes the gases would have (mouth, eyes, ears, nose, anus, skin pores) to escape the body, it would literally just *never* happen; kind of like trying to blow up a balloon that has a hole in it. You can pump air into that motherfucker for a decade, it simply won't blow up.
We ARE aliens. Just something to point out. Even if most likely we aren't alone, we too are mysterious life forms, to those who too, hadn't ventured far off from their Galaxy.
Christopher Because we are... Okay, slow it down here. From the perspective of anything looking at us and our planet, we are aliens. That's the point he's trying to make. We originate here, sure. But if you were another species from Neptune or something, we would be aliens to you, because we aren't natural to your planet.
Also, people always talk about aliens on exoplanets, but their light is fr away, so even if we were to discover them, there's a possibility they might not even exist anymore.
The Universe will reach it's limit, fold back in on itself to a tiny point, and release that energy again, causing another big bang. Like hitting a Reset button in a game, everything will repeat itself. Who knows how many times thats happened? How many times you've been through this exact same thing? That's why we get de ja vu, because we've literally done something before, have been reset, and did it again. Now isn't that scary?
spirit bonnie Evidence please, I've seen a documentary on Netflix stating that the universe would expand indefinitely. And proved such with an equation.
... Do I look like a scientist to you? My IQ may be 119 but I'm only 16... I don't know what you watched, but I haven't seen it.. But I can explain it with this: How many things that expand just keep expanding? An explosion doesn't keep going, even when the nuclear bombs went off they eventually dispersed. If anything, he Rip theory would be most correct, as that's how most explosions end, by just ending. The Universe imploding on itself wouldn't really make sense, but that's just what I believe would happen if the Universe were to end entirely, it would just make a new Universe. I wasn't trying to say precisely what was going to happen, if you watched to the end of the video, then you'll know that I had just taken the Crunch theory and put my own "terrifying" spin on it. To me, it just makes sense that's what would happen
spirit bonnie Hey hey, relax. People usually have some form of evidence to support them, that doesn't always mean that they're a scientist. I was originally just asking what you're source was so i could learn more about your pov.No need to get offended.
The universe is way too big for us to be the only living beings. Alien life has to be out there...it's probably not anywhere near this planet or even this Galaxy...hell probably not for millions of lightyears, but something has to be out there.
There's probably life on a fuck-ton of planets in our galaxy. Remember we have A LOT of stars here in the Milky Way so even if life on earth was a one in a million occurrence there are still billions of other solar systems which puts the odds overwhelmingly in favor of life developing on other worlds.
Chavezz... How are you not scared of the depending doom of your death? It scares me to death that there's multiple chances that we are able to die. I freak out when I learn that is a possibility that something could hit and kill us all. It terrifies me. It makes me want to cry. It makes me want to stay by my mother's side and never leave it. You can call me a coward or a wuss, but maybe certain you experienced this.
Sure its terrifying...but its always been like this. Better live the best life you can son, better to die after having an awesome experience of earth then die having a terrible one brian paulino
personally, I don't find death to be very scary because of the fact that having been alive at all is incredible. The chance of life forming is so minuscule (if you believe that all life originated by luck) and it is incredible that we were a part of that. Not only that but we became humans, the most intelligent creature on this planet and we can question these things. Death means the end of that, but it was great to be a part of life. It's like looking back upon a fond memory. You don't feel sad that it ended, you feel happy that it happened.
Theoretically speaking we're not alone in the universe the universe is believed to be infinite or forever expanding so that means there are infinite possibilities of planets so that means there's a infinite possibility that is a planet that holds life
since the universe is constantly expanding , it means that their is an infinite amount of atoms . However there is a finite amount of ways an atoms could bond or create something , meaning that somewhere in the universe there must be a planet that can support life. The scary thing is that it also means that there must be somewhere in the universe of an exact copy of ourselves and our planet.
Infinite universe theory: Our universe can only hold a finite amount of atoms. So what is beyond what we see? Nothing? It cant be nothing. That's impossible. There is something, but we are not anywhere close to figuring out what.
Why I just subscribed : 3:35 video operater : "Black holes can travel several billion miles, within seconds Destroying anything in their way. Even ripping our sun into peices." Him : "Dang, that's awesome... I like that." And, 930, "Venus, named after the goddess of love, it's actually the most hellish planet." "Thats actually very acurate." 😂😆🤣
3:22 I wanted to expand on #23. Outside of the event horizon, a black hole is no different to any other object, whether it be stars, planets or moons. You can replace the black hole with another star of equal mass and achieve the same outcome. So, it's not the black hole causing it, it's just the mass of the object. Stars the size of the Sun will never become black holes because they're too small (in mass), so it makes sense that you could replace a black hole that was, say, 8 Sun masses with a star that is 8 Sun masses, and feel the exact same gravitational pull.
11:17 An alternative theory to this eventual occurrence is that the planets will have realigned themselves outward throughout the entire red giant phase of the Sun. This can happen because the Sun is steadily losing mass as it generates energy. Through the red giant phase, Sun-like stars eject their outermost layers, which means that red giants, although much larger in dimension, are actually less massive, and as such the closest planets will feel less gravitational attraction.
I love how people are never worried about the fact that if other life is out there they may not like us and might try to just take over our planet especially given thr way we treat each other
The most likely end to the universe would be ‘heat death’ where space expands so fast, nothing can interact with each other until everything eventually radiates into heat and the universe goes silent, never to wake again
When it comes to the concept of alien life in the universe there are two distinct possibilities. Either we are alone in the universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.
Statistically speaking, there absolutely has to be some kind of intelligent alien life somewhere in the universe, if not right here in our own neighborhood. I would find it so much more terrifying if we were alone in this unfathomably huge universe. Like, no dude.
Regarding time dilation: Since satellites in geostationary orbit around Earth move so much faster than us down here on the surface, they actually experience a tiny fraction of a second of time dilation. This is a real problem, as the digital network doesn't really know how to handle a second being shorter on the transmitting end than the receiving end. As a result, devices made to receive signals from geostationary orbit have had their internal clocks slightly modified to keep up with the signal.
With english being my second language it was hard to understand everything and when I tried to understand what was just said I noticed that I missed some info when thinking. Chavezz your videos are great
I think eventually the universe will contract on itself and all that mass in such a small point will create a big bang again recreating the universe infinitely.
5:38 What I don't think people quite understand, thanks to movies and games, is that aliens don't have to be little green men. An alien is simply life that originates from another astronomical body. That can be as simple as single-celled microorganisms. So, when you think of aliens like this, it becomes much more probable that they exist. The issue we face is that our strongest radio waves can't reach our nearest stellar neighbor, Proxima Centauri, just over 4 light-years away. And even if they did, simple life such as this wouldn't have the ability to respond.
There are lot of videos on TH-cam for these "sounds in space' They're pretty cool, there is even recordings on Pulsars which pretty much sound like someone playing the bongo :p
Personally I think the Universe is only a SPEC of what there is....it was in 1920 we only gained the knowledge of different galaxies less than a hundred years ago, and people before that would laugh at the idea of it, but Hubble came through and discovered them, what if the Universe (as we know it) is small... we just lack the tools to see it, in its true vastness.....
just to indulge you (although a bit late). Not only is it possible that there is incredible amounts of information (fundamental unit of the universe) beyond our universe. But the universe is estimated to be incredibly larger than what we can see. The observable universe is estimated to be 0.0001% the size of the entire universe. This was found by calculating the expansion of the universe almost the instant after the big bang if you are curious. If there are more universes beyond ours, then the universe is even more vast than we had hoped for and who knows what other intriguing phenomena exist beyond our universe.
Interesting scary facts that have me worried 😩 about the future to come am hoping to get over it but it easy said than done but it a good video but has your thoughts running wild!!
The universe is HUGE, so I would never say that we are alone, it’s statistically impossible for a thing such as the universe (which has been theorized to be infinite) to “make” another planet like earth happen.
In my opinion......yes...I believe that somewhere on some distant planet there is a green-skinned, 3-eyed Chavez posting on SpaceTube laughing at a purple-skinned, 8-eyed Gordon Ramsay :D
Given that, theoretically, the universe is infinitely expanding faster than the speed of light, there has to be something, someone, else out there, though whether or not we'll ever find them is another question entirely.
6:52 Okay, I feel like I'm going to be sharing a lot of information throughout this list. I apologize in advance, but I think knowledge should be shared. So, our current fastest spacecraft launched from Earth is New Horizons, with a maximum speed of 36,000 mph. Taking the distance to our closest stellar neighbor, Proxima Centuari, into consideration, we would be looking at a travel time of 70,000 Earth years. And you have to remember that New Horizons is a space probe, weighing about 900 lb (or 400 kg). If you were to have a spacecraft capable of holding people, you would be dealing with a lot more mass than this, and so 36,000 mph would be a dream.
Due to the extremely rare conditions it takes to have a planet with life an “alien planet” could be exactly the same as earth with humans, and animals You could find yourself stranded on an alien planet exactly like your home world with no way to get back and anyone you told would think your crazy
I'm going to bring some people knowledge about 25, without going into too much information, you can go light speed, you would "bend reality around you" so you would sit still but the space around you moves around you, pushing you forward, or to simplify this, a warp bubble, there is way more detail I could go into, but I'll just leave it at, "speed of light is possible"
while Venus is the roman name of the planet, the latin name of it was Lucifer. pretty apt considering both the brightness of it in our sky, and the hellish landscape on the surface of the planet
Ironically we know more of the universe then we do our ocean....and theres no way we discovered 5% of something thats always expanding......that number should constantly be going down if you think about it Lojain Tamer
I think there's alien life out there. there endless stars (suns) out there and each sun and planets orbiting around it so yea I think there's something out there
Sun is the past: photons take 8 minutes and 20 seconds to reach earth from the sun. Earth is the present: Oh hey, we're here. Moon is the future: Earth facing/space facing properties, bitches! (In all reality, it'd probably end up being cities in one of the lava tubes under the lunar surface.) Felt like saying something. Nikola Tesla is my hero. The works he worked on and my works, my life. His legacy, my duty. /geeking out.

The big crunch sounds scary O_O
hears something he has no idea about
"that makes alot of sense"
These facts are so dope
That last fact describes the Spiral Nemesis.
The first fact being atoms would be like bullets moving at that speed
I honestly think there's both aliens, and that new planet that they said that can support life? Yeah, I believe there's life on that one two.

24 wouldn't help my Seasonal Affect Disorder
Due to the extremely rare conditions it takes to have a planet with life an “alien planet” could be exactly the same as earth with humans, and animals
You could find yourself stranded on an alien planet exactly like your home world with no way to get back and anyone you told would think your crazy
"I love solar flares"
Nice
There ARE aliens, that isn't debatable. The ONLY thing you can debate is whether any sentient alien has visited Earth.
more than 2 times did he say the earth could blow up and Chavez is just laughing😂🤔
I think the size of the universe is beyond our understanding
I'm going to bring some people knowledge about 25, without going into too much information, you can go light speed, you would "bend reality around you" so you would sit still but the space around you moves around you, pushing you forward, or to simplify this, a warp bubble, there is way more detail I could go into, but I'll just leave it at, "speed of light is possible"
a vast miasma of incodesent plasma BARS
so with number 5 it is kinda a one way future only time machine
while Venus is the roman name of the planet, the latin name of it was Lucifer. pretty apt considering both the brightness of it in our sky, and the hellish landscape on the surface of the planet
The universe is endless
There are probably alien but they are probably just as happy to see another intelligent lifeform in space and will greet us gladly
What is the song played in the video
There is no freaking way we are alone in the entire universe. That would the most boring thing to watch, from God’s perspective
When I look or think a bout animals and death of earth I cry
Loneliness is the thing that I fear the most.
We only discovered 5% of the ocean and space, no one knows what's still hiding in the shadows..
Ironically we know more of the universe then we do our ocean....and theres no way we discovered 5% of something thats always expanding......that number should constantly be going down if you think about it Lojain Tamer
WAIT THAT THUMBNAIL HAS MY BACKGROUND
Cool
Did you just reply to your own comment? 😂
#4 Maybe there's more than one God playing war games using galaxies as canons to fight each other?
I think there's alien life out there. there endless stars (suns) out there and each sun and planets orbiting around it so yea I think there's something out there
Sun is the past: photons take 8 minutes and 20 seconds to reach earth from the sun.
Earth is the present: Oh hey, we're here.
Moon is the future: Earth facing/space facing properties, bitches! (In all reality, it'd probably end up being cities in one of the lava tubes under the lunar surface.)
Felt like saying something. Nikola Tesla is my hero. The works he worked on and my works, my life. His legacy, my duty. /geeking out.
more vids like this plsss
After the universe ends a new one shall be born and with a new universe there shall be new planets/stars
What I wonder what does nothing look like
When you get to the end of the universe what do you see past it like how do you look at nothing
