I live in Florida but have spent all my life vacationing in your area… it pains me to see the devastation but warms my heart to see how things are being rebuilt… I know there’s a be long way to go . I really enjoyed the shots where you showed the before and after they truly show the power of water… thank you for the ride!!

I hope everyone watches this so they can see just how bad it really is here. Thank you for sharing, I've lived here my whole life too and I can't drive back there since I don't have a 4-wheeler, I pray for all those people on those roads and I'm so thankful for the volunteers from all over. I volunteer with Baptist on a mission and was sent that way to help but could not continue on the roads. I hope everyone watches and shares this. you're amazing for going on a day when the trucks were on break. We also buried my grandma in Egypt Ramsey town a year ago, if you have video of the burial grounds, I'd appreciate seeing that. I'm so worried about it. it's so sad how hard they were hit.

I heard quite a few of the new bridges put in to people's homes got washed away again this pass Saturday to a storm this is not what these poor people need. Just heartbreaking again. Neighbours have helped & worked so hard to support eachother after Helene. Thank you for the Christmas day tour & feel better soon. ❤

Knowing how small those creeks were.... and to see how high they rose.....I still can't fathom it!!

It’s good to see progress. I live on 64/74A just below Lake Lure. The road was gone in Chimney Rock and closed. I’ve been taking long detours on the bike to reach Fairview and Asheville. I noticed yesterday google maps and my gps no longer detour me. I’ll find out later today. I hope it’s open everyone needs access and the businesses need everyone’s support.

I really hope it's good news & the road is open that would be a big boost to the economy & people's morale too. ❤

I agree there were so many good people helping in the beginning and of course there were those trying to benefit from it. We had a FEMA rep already and someone drove up acting like a FEMA agent and we reported it to FEMA. And some people had issues with other things, but for the most part, 95% of the people were of great help and we couldn't have done without them. I have still got to send thank yous around. I got phone numbers at least. We are in Avery County near Banner Elk. Samaritans Purse helped us a ton as well as a contractor from Charlotte. Nice to see an update video. I hardly get that way anymore but I still worry about everyone there.
